The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City, FL does spay/neuters for $30. The vet there is very experienced and they also have a very experienced Animal Care Manager on site. I would trust my own rabbits there.

E-lops tend to have "doggy bun" personalities...very mellow. I have rexes and they are very active and inquisitive. I would guess this rabbit to be somewhere in between. I have always wanted a velveteen lop!

I see that you already got a brush ams1786, but I highly recommend the Small Animal Furminator. It has a different blade than the regular Furminator. I have rexes and it works great.

I have had experience with dental abscesses and a long term antibiotic regimen (mine was 3 months) including bicillin injections did the trick in curing Sparky.

I use horse bedding pellets. It is really hard to find wood stove pellets here in Florida. The wood stove pellets are safe. You just need to make sure they haven't been treated with an accelerant.
