    Kaytee Wood Pellets Litter Safe?

I think yes. What I would do is to order one package and try. If the buny doesn't start eating it, i would assume its okay. Another tip: Always use it by covering it with hay, so that they don't get uncomfortable when hopping in. (It's like stepping on lego without hay)

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

For fur problems: oxbow digestive support. Give 1 per day (or 2 if extreme long fur and shedding season). and of course grooming. As for my bunny: surgery it is probably……….. First we try to get a sample from the gut if that's possible. Right now my vet is asking the Ultrasound collegaue...

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

Right now we are forced to feed her the pelletts and change it to a different one, due to weigh loss.

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

So we were at the vet hospital who does the ultrasound, and they did it. They found a 3-4 cm gut enlargement. This is the same diagnose they found in last october. This is something that can cause IBD. So yeah, that's that. We have forwarded this to our vet, now we are awaiting her response.

    Rabbit not moving or eating

If he is eating on his own that's a good sign. Monitor the poops!

    Rabbit not moving or eating

I don't know how many hours are you in actually but at the first signs: -Empty the toilet of the bunny and monitor whether he/she poops or not, that way you can make sure (almost make sure) that he/she has a blockage or not (no poops means blockage probably). -Once that is confirmed, 20ml of...

Why is bunny licking off hair and biting nails?

Sorry, I meant no offense. I was only thinking using my views: I only raise questions most of the time when I have some concern regarding a Rabbit behaviour. Where time is precious and I know that out of that habit that I yet do not understand something bad could happen, and I would need ideas...

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

So I've waited a bit time. According to the Vet her belly is okay, not in pain. The pellett could cause these episodes she is having. So we will change the pelletts slowly.

No conclusion can be made from the blood test according to the other vet. She wants to examine her. So I'm taking her today to the vet.

Why is bunny licking off hair and biting nails?

In our case I'm not able to tell where she actually bites the nail, but it's probably similar to yours: somewhere in the middle. Right after biting, the male starts to lick it for himself. (No bleeding so far, and the bitings happen almost daily) Then again the most important thing is your...

Why is bunny licking off hair and biting nails?

Biting: Our female does that to the front legs of the male daily. It's probably showing who is the boss. Licking: Our male licks the female's eyes. The hair around the eyes become wet but that's it. (In your case, does he actually rip/eat it off?)

    Please help: injured bunny

While I didn't write anything to this topic, I read your message yesterday about visting the vet, and I'm really grateful that the rabbit's leg is not broken :) (I didn't write anything because I wasn't able to tell anything based on the pictures)

    White urine

I would give him hay and water and the snack (same amount as before). I wouldn't worry about starvation. Our 2 rabbits are on the same diet: hay, water, pellett. With this the healthy one is 1.9kg. Constantly. Its perfectly fine that they are begging for food. When they stop doing that: it means...

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

A different vet who we can contact directly will call us soon. She examined the papers and the xray. It might be she will take a look at her tomorrow.

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

We did that for 2 days (stopping CC when she started eating large amount hay) and then she started losing weight. Went down from 1300g to 1277g.

Yes, she ate hay and we gave her Critical care (4x times a day 20ml). Large poops and many of them.

    GI Stasis/Ileus weekly/bi-weekly

The vet (exotic vet qualified) told us that the kalcium level is something to be concerned of, it can indicate kidney failure, but it's not 100% sure. So the vet's examination was like: 4x4 is 16 and 5x5 is 25 so going that way it's nothing but also something that looks like nothing which is...
