    Litter training

So I started litter training my rabbit for the past 2-3 days and the first box I bought him was too small so I bought him a larger one and cut it out so he could enter since it's too high... I use wood pellets for litter But the problem is... He won't even go in there unless I put pellets or...

Litter box training and first time eating hay

I did, so I planned to give her small amounts of pellets and just put her in the playpen all day until she'll get used to it And I added some wheatgrass too, and another thing that is weird, she learned to just poop and pee in the mat that I give her in the pen so I just made the box like a hay...

Rabbit eating Hay for the first Time.

So my rabbit Caramel(4 months old) will be eating hay for the first time, the hay I will be using is star grass hay and I know that I must be using Timothy or alfalfa but star grass hay is the only hay I can afford right now and our farms here does not sell hay so I ordered online. The hay just...

    Update 6 months later

Maybe she/he's just extremely scared/shy. How about buying a playpen And after that you must put your rabbit in that playpen including yourself, spend time with him/her... Rabbits are prey animals so let him/her come to you, don't carry him/her, rabbits don't like being carried. Do this everyday...

    Litter training Soon

Thank you for replying (her name is caramel because of her fur). The province I live in is poor so that's explains why we don't have a pet store, vet that knows rabbit health and other equipments that rabbits can use. The litter that our mall sells (which is the only mall we have I think...)...

Sorry... But the place I live in has no materials for rabbits, the place I live in only focuses on dogs and cats. There are no pet stores even the vet... They only focus on cats and dogs. There is a farm at the place I live but they don't sell hay.

    Wet around eyes

I searched about your situation maybe it's because of Epistaxis, or bleeding from the nose, occurs due to one of three abnormalities: blood clotting disorder, space-occupying tumor, or organ disease. And maybe her eyes are wet because she feels pain or something. I'm not sure but rabbits do cry...
