Litter box retraining after being bonded.

It started 3 weeks after they were housed together in the same room. I’ve taken away all the towels and cardboard and have added another litter box and pen them together at night.

Litter box retraining after being bonded.

My girl is peeing everywhere still, she's been bonded with the boy for 4 weeks now and is still peeing everywhere! It's getting so frustrating constantly cleaning and doing washing... I have decided to retrain her and pen her in a limited space, question is, do I need to keep the boy in there...

    Australian Woodstove pellets

They don't eat the pellets fortunately or chew on any of my furniture, I also have a grate on top of the pellets. I will see if Bunnings has a softwood option though.

    Australian Woodstove pellets

with the Bunnings one, it says 100% hardwood, I am in lockdown at the moment so can't check, but lets say it is there's no extra additives, is hardwood pellets ok? Most I see are pine pellets for bedding

    Australian Woodstove pellets

Hi, most information on bunny stuff is from America, I am trying to buy woodstove pellets with no accelerants? but in Australia, they're not very descriptive, under specification it just lists colour lol? I am currently using pine pellets $14 for 15kg - but the supplier is very far away and I...

Anyone looking to rehome a boy? - Melb/Australia

An update they are bonded. I did not end up doing any sessions and just housed them together 5 weeks after he was desexed since there were never any fighting. I got them a memory foam mat to use as a bed and layered it with towels and fleece with cardboard as a roof lol.

    Rabbit bonding question

I'd say that's not enough pre-bonding time but I agree with Blue eyes, to stop stressing everyone involved, if it's easy to rehome one of them, then I think it's for the best and do bunny dates for your boy with a girl when you're ready :) Goodluck.

    Rabbit bonding question

How long ago were they neutered? How long have you tried bonding them? Did you spend a few weeks letting them live side by side etc?? Same *** bonds are usually more difficult in general.

Do I still need bonding sessions with buns who live together? GIRL PEEING EVERYWHERE

Thank you everyone, there’s some reassurance it could be her sensing his hormones. I will take her to the vet shortly. Call them tmr. She always had a problem peeing everywhere though it’s definitely worst since I’ve put them together fulltime. they never fought since I brought him home, even...

Do I still need bonding sessions with buns who live together? GIRL PEEING EVERYWHERE

They been living together the past 3 days in their own room, they're not the best of friends but there are no fights, no aggression. Plenty of grooming. He still occasionally chases her (I assume he is chasing, not sure, coz she just runs from him when he's near) soon after he will stop and eat...

    Bonding

Hi Emily, I am currently in the same stage as you, right now I am swapping them around in each space so they can get used to smells and do short feeding sessions together (6pm veggies, 12am pellets). Once his hormones die down I will follow videos - Neutral small space short sessions and slowly...
