Doe pulled fur again and killed 3-day-old kit

Oh I understand now, sorry if you were offended... that sounds like good improvement with her happy attitude! Hope she turns out fine and loves her new home ;)

Doe pulled fur again and killed 3-day-old kit

I agree - definitely take her to the vet - especially since you say there’s still blood excess... if you knew she had a history for being a mother who didn’t look after her kits then you shouldn’t have bred her, that just causes more stress for the mum and is unhealthy...

    babies again

those kits are from last year September and they were all sold in the time of 6 weeks...that's how fast people wanted one :) no, both mum and dad are fawn, but the dad always made an albino white rabbit in each litter - with different does! he must have gene for it... the doe in the picture now...

    babies again

Ngaaaaaw beautiful! Yeah buyers would come to pick her up because she was the favourite but then didn’t like how she had red eyes (white Flemish giants should have red eyes) and so would pick out a fawn.... she was one of the last to go....but I was glad to keep her for longer!

Doe pulled fur again and killed 3-day-old kit

Was she looking after 2 litters at the same time? Because that would explain the aggressive behaviour...

    EATING PLAY-DOH!?

I agree with Athena that the play dough shouldn’t harm your bunny as such as he wouldn’t have eaten a large quantity. And yes, I love reading how people’s bunnies lives are going and all the interesting info! Bunnies are the sweetest, fluffiest creatures - nothing can compare!

    babies again

So there are now 18 bunnies under my care - two doe’s plus the male and all obviously have seperate cages. 8 are 3/4 NZ Flemish Giant and now 16 days old, and the new arrival of 7 pure Flemish Giants were born this morning. Such a blessing to look after these beautiful creatures and eventually...

    babies again

So, my NZ Flemish Giant finallllllllllly after 2 months of waiting, got her second litter of babies!! There are 7 big, healthy kits (found 8th one dead in nest) and I’m pretty sure there are 3 solid blacks and 4 solid blues. Mum is fawn so I’m surprised that there are no ginger kits but I’m...

2 week old rabbit eating moms celery

Yes this is perfectly normal! My doe had her first litter (8 kits) and they are 16 days old. They nibble pellets, their mum's droppings and grass, so I think it's good that your bunny is exploring new things! :)

    babies again

Thanks! They are 15 days old now in this picture and after a play and explore they still get tired and snuggly... mum loves to have a break from them though because they never leave her alone until she gives in to their attention and feeds them:p

Is my baby rabbit pregnant? Young age!

Your rabbit should be ok when she gives birth (if she does, but my opinion is that she looks pregnant...) and all you can do is make sure she has correct bedding and nesting materials until she has them. If her nipples are swollen or very visible then that is another sign that she is pregnant. I...

    licking

I have the same thing happening to me! My doe keeps licking my hand and I found out that she did it because she thought I was one of her babies (due to me holding them and the smell was on my hands) but I also think she does it because she accepts you and doesn’t mind you invading her privacy ;)

    babies again

Update of the 8 kits, all doing fantastic! Cleaned nest out today and found a dead kit (number 9) completely buried in nest and it made me agitated that I didn’t find it earlier even though I thoroughly searched the nest when they were born. Anyway, all 8 healthy bunnies have their eyes open and...
