Hi, I have 8 healthy kits - 4 boys and 4 girls and they are almost 5 weeks old. Today when I let them for a good play, they were properly humping eachother and trying to mate or so it looked like... is this normal behaviour or something I should be concerned about??? I tried to stop this weird...

To be honest, you could get all sorts of different coloured offspring, depending on the generations of the parents as well as the parents themselves. The only way you will be able to tell is when they enter the world! Besides, you wouldn’t be able to find proper homes in advance anyway because...

I think personally that if rabbit owners want a collar on their rabbit, then it’s their own risk that they are taking. Not everyone agrees with collars for rabbits for various reasons, but for those who do, I understand that they are extra cautious so that their bunny is safe. I reckon collars...

I’ve had a friend who had the exact same thing happen to all her 7 kits at the same age and they died bunny at a time... you said how the last bun had his head tilted? This suggests that they had a virus which in that case, meant that all of them would die even if you tried to prevent...

They look like they fit into the Seal category to me... hope you find out what colour they are... if you have any ‘proper’ breeders around (not people who breed for money and don’t really care about the rabbits at all...) you could ask for their advice

Yes that’s normal - a smaller breed would weigh about that much. I do Flemish giants and they are well over 1 kg at 6 weeks... I wouldn’t worry about weight if the breed is unknown...
