What breed is this and what would the color be called?

That sounds like what this guy is! Thanks!

What breed is this and what would the color be called?

He's big, like 3 times the size of my lionhead. I'm assuming they guessed right on male, I personally have not looked but he was neutered yesterday, so I hope they got it right! LOL. He was a stray turned into animal control and is now being fostered by me for a rabbit rescue, so I've got no...

What breed is this and what would the color be called?

I'm new to rabbits and slowly learning breeds and coat colors. Can you tell me what this guy might be and how you arrived at that guess? I know a lot of the nuance is just experience and can be harder to describe. Thanks!

    Opinions on future rabbit set-up?

^Agreed!^ Cat brushes are way better. I've got a lionhead and all the small pet brushes seem to be crummy.

    Opinions on future rabbit set-up?

Tractor supply has compressed 50 pound hay bales for around $18-$20, I haven't personally bought any but they don't take up a great deal of room. I've heard from several people that they are both great and bad, so shrug? And I've heard Chewy also has a large box of hay for $50 shipped that lasts...

What are your die-hard rabbit products?

Yes, I use smaller latching bowls for their pellets too, though thankfully most don't tip that, I don't have enough of those for all my fosters either. They are around $4 to $10 each at feed stores based on size and materiel, the stainless are a bit more. Hmm, not sure on the litter. I have a...

    Opinions on future rabbit set-up?

Yes, if possible, hay from a rancher/farmer is way less expensive. I'm allergic to Timothy hay and was able to buy some Barley hay from a local person for $6 for a roughly 70 pound bale that should last me around 6 months and as a bonus I am way less allergic to it. I had to wait until a day...

What are your die-hard rabbit products?

Looks like you were thinking of getting a different kind of litter. That one works well too but I love this horse bedding from tractor supply for litter boxes. It's cheap, controls odor very well and doesn't stick in my long haired bunny's fur...

    Opinions on future rabbit set-up?

I didn't see anything on there that would be a no go. I would suggest a bigger, at least one gallon, gravity water bowl. The bunny would be fine locked in a decent sized kennel for 6-8 hours a night if free roaming the rest of the day.

What are your die-hard rabbit products?

I keep other animals that storage totes, with some modification, works really well to house, so I already had these laying around. But I absolutely swear by the Iris 11 gallon storage totes, we buy them 3 at a time from Costco for I think around $16 and a $4 soldering iron at most hardware...

    Three new fosters.

Just got this guy in as a stray last night, he's huge and gorgeous with a great temperament, so I doubt I'll have him long. The local animal shelter neutered him yesterday but that seemed not to have phased him at all, he was doing binkies soon after I got him set up. Though he can climb...

    Three new fosters.

And Opal, she seems like a sweetie too.

    Three new fosters.

And then Nellie, a big silly sweet girl with helicopter ears. Didn't get good pics of her unfortunately.

    Three new fosters.

Super sweet so far but hopefully I won't have them for long and they'll get great homes! The rescue had had to pull their rabbits out of the local Petsmart because they didn't have anyone to foster them, rotate them out and give them a break from being in the store, which isn't an ideal...

    Waterproof flooring?

Oh, and someone chewed a hole in the tarp within 3 days but I moved the litter box over it and, knock on wood, they haven't chewed on it since.

    Waterproof flooring?

I bought a piece of laminate and will be making a NIC high rise with attached run over the next week, still waiting for some needed supplies to arrive. I bought the second cheapest laminate my home improvement store had, because the cheapest had quite a few bad reviews about it tearing. I'm so...

    Waterproof flooring?

And my cheap tarp arrived today, so much easier to keep tidy! Any bets on how long it will last? Hopefully the little turd leaves it alone at least until the 1st, because the budget is tapped out! I want to get some vinyl sheet flooring next month though, I think that's a better longer term...

    Waterproof flooring?

And this was the next step, several blankets and a pee/water proof "blanket" that I bought when my elderly dog was having incontinence issues. That was when I connected both enclosures and they were getting to know each other. They peed several times outside the litter boxes then. Hopefully that...
