yep some babies can be worrying sometimes. My friends rabbit had a kit and its fur grew strange, but when it got to about 3 weeks, its fur turned out the same as the others. I'm glad the kit is doing well

Here they are Bella's 3 week old kits. I couldn't get a photo of the 5th and last kit as it was very wiggly that morning. The photo of the single kit in 1st left-hand photo is one of the kits in the middle photo. I just took it to show the coloration better

and I definitely agree with JBun, "If in doubt don't even try it", because all Bunnies react differently. I have never had a problem with Bon (the dad) hurting any of his offspring, but I will never let him near mum or the babies before 2 or 3 months, (I never put him near the female babies)...
