    Bunny Proofing

have you got any tunnels or do you have any access to cardboard boxes to make holes in and tunnels, I found my Bunny loves to rip up cardboard and paper, I give her toilet paper rolls and she loves to chuck these around. I just thought cardboard boxes with holes through them might give them...

What rabbit breed is least scared?

I've never known a rabbit to hold its poop and pee for 6-8 hours, if they do hold it for that long, there is something wrong with their digestive tract. Rabbit's from my experience are not the kind of animal to sit/lay still for hours at a time. Rabbits are also all different, it doesn't matter...

    Netherland bred with lion head

Yep sorry, I meant if you take the kit away from Mum between 5 and 8 weeks they are good at weaning themselves, as they are already eating mostly solid food. But my baby Buns and my friend's babies seem to just wean themselves of Mum around the 6-week mark. Especially with Bella's babies...

    Netherland bred with lion head

The kit should be old enough to be weaned right now. They are very good at weaning themselves off their mums, between 5 and 8 weeks, they wean, and around this time they are on solid food. The reason they hang around Mum for a bit longer is that they need Mum's caecotrophs to help their gut get...

(Video) Help! Bunny not nesting? Is this a pregnancy?

Some Does don't nest till the same night or morning they have their babies. Some will nest a week or two beforehand and then pull fur just before giving birth. while others only nest and pull fur just before giving birth. I once got told to wait till day 40 before trying again as some does...

Does anyone use puppy pads with their rabbits or could suggest other alternatives to newspaper??

You could try using treated wood shavings if you can get some. I find they are a really good absorption for litter boxes.

    Living next to train tracks

yep I agree with Mileybun. Buns will generally get used to a loud noise after time, especially if it is made on a regular basis. Deffinately give him a hidey hole, where he can dash if it scares him, after a time it will not bother him.

My rabbit chinned my friend but he has never done it to me

yep, rabbits chinning something is more often than not just there way of letting other rabbits know that this area or thing belongs to them, and like a lot of animals out in nature that mark their territory it is just a way of letting themselves and other animals know that this is now home...

help, my 3 week old rabbits have poop stuck to their butts a lot

with my rabbit's babies, I just checked their bottoms every couple of days and just picked off the poop of the ones who needed cleaning. My friend has had a few batches of Kit's born, and he just checks their bottoms every couple of days just to clear away the stuck poop. I think if their poop...
