    HUGE Hay Box!

That's the ticket AS. One of the benefits of doing it yourself is you can customize the dimensions. It looks to be a pretty simple build. Finished lumber isn't cheap, I'm guesstimating you can build that for about $50 USD or 42 euro.

A little warm outside this week ;)

Yikes Blue Eyes. Dry heat or not, hot is hot. We have a break this week low 90s instead of mid 90's. This time of year we're rolling 90+% humidity. I very much dislike the heat and would prefer being back home in Ohio.

    Take a bunny quiz

LOL, I forgot to mention my 4/10. I took the quiz before checking out the web site. Yeah Mac & OtML, I'm not done reading through that site but am learning a lot.... good stuff.

How much of a vet fund should I set up?

That's a tough question to answer. It completely depends on your income, location, etc. Seeing that you're in the U.S., a normal vet visit depending on where you live can range from about $75 - $250(?). An emergency can sky rocket that cost. If you have a vet, call or email them and find out...

    Take a bunny quiz

I came across this site with all kinds of facts and bunny info. It has quite an extensive amount of info that is different than most bunny sites. The info is more science class based. Take the quiz... don't get discouraged. 😂😂😂 https://fohn.net/rabbit-pictures-facts/quiz.html...

    DIY cage cleaner

As stated above vinegar and water. That Nature's Miracle product is a bit of a chemical soup.

Please explain the hay journey(?) to me

So you get some hay. Put it in your bunnies hay place. For LB it's in her litter box. She eats some and compresses some into the bedding and poo. Do rabbits eat the hay once compressed down? The stuff on the top anyway. I wouldn't think they'd eat pee-d on hay. Is the non-compressed hay what's...

How to prevent rabbit litter box from messing up the whole house? Looking for litter box recommendations

Here's the one LB uses. I think having it sit under the shelf is good as it somewhat encloses the box so it seems to LB to be somewhat of a hidey hut as well. There might be less than a handful of poo pellets on the open floor a few days after cleaning the pen.

Does anybody know any good profiles on here?

When I first decided to get a bunny I did a bunch of reading before I ventured to Youtube. Lennon's channel was the first one I came across and watched many of LoreLei's videos. Yes a lot of what has been stated above has truth to it. However, in my opinion, she is beneficial more than not for...

Please, I need help. Should I euthanize my poor baby

Patchouli was so fortunate to be with you. Your love and care for him is unquestionable. I'm betting he knew how much you loved him.

Please, I need help. Should I euthanize my poor baby

Patchoulili, please do not think I am inferring anything about your choices or trying to be unsympathetic with the horrible situation you're in. The following is said based on situations I've been in as well as have seen friends and family in. It's incredible that you are doing everything you...

    Luna Bunny's Blog

I've been thinking about Luna dog a lot the past few days. Luna went away Christmas week of last year. I just want to lay out the ties to Luna and LB here as well as sort of a tribute to Lu. Lu was a great mutt. Lu was with my mom and when mom went away I brought Lu and Higgins to be with me...

    Luna Bunny's Blog

2 days ago LB, Bubba, and I went to the vet. No issues with LB however Bubba went in for her doggie check up and I figured we can get LB "on the books" and to get a vibe about this vet's bunny-ness. Bubs is 10 years and the vet said she's in excellent shape other than the slight arthritis in...

    Cable/cord wrap

Ikea has 16 feet (4.8m) of white cord protector for $5.99 USD. It's 1 inch (2.54cm) in diameter. That's super cheap compared to the box home improvement stores. It's still cheaper including the $5 shipping. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/rabalder-cable-organizer-white-20281419/

    Hydroponic/ container gardening

Whelp, mission accomplished... or just started? I went with 2 basil, 1 cilantro, 1 lemon balm, 1 peppermint, and 1 parsley. It took some time to get everything and then to set it all up but it went smoothly. The most difficult part was cleaning the dirt off the plant roots. If there was an...

    Adoption Price?

That document you posted in the other thread is a bit unclear. It says $45 & $125 reimbursement for spay/neuter. If that's included in the $195, that seems okay to me. Basically $70 after reimbursement. My adoption fees were $60 and LB was already spayed the 1st time she was at that rescue.

    Hydroponic/ container gardening

For sure I'll keep you updated Blue Eyes. I'll be taking a couple days off this week and I'll probably start getting everything together then. Then another decade or two before I get it put together 😂😂 I am thinking basil, cilantro, and lemon balm. @Blue eyes , any idea how many plants I'll...
