Just curious. I’ve noticed my bunny doing it more recently. He’s been neutered for more than 5 months so I don’t think it’s territorial. It’s usually in the same two spots

It seems like issue is more than just the shedding though since she won’t eat. But I think for right now, you need to make sure she’s groomed. E-how has some great videos on how to groom even a skittish rabbit so check those out. I have a mini rex so I don’t know too much about grooming.

Is there another vet you can go see or at least call the one you are currently using? I really would continue to provide her with unlimited Timothy hay, water, and perhaps avoid the pellets and veg for now.

Have you given her any odd treats lately?

Hi, so my rabbit's ears seem a bit colder than usual. He's doing everything normally but I just noticed now. It's about 68 degrees in the apartment.

This started a few weeks ago. He's an 11 mos. old mini rex. We brought him to the vet because right when this started, he wouldn't eat. It's possible the eye thing started before but I had only noticed when he stopped eating. They kept him overnight and found some gas in his scans. About 3 days...

Oh right, she’s on metacam. Hmm. How long has she not been eating for? Others on the forum will probably have better advice than I do as I’ve only owned my bun for 10 months.

That’s really nice of you. So many senior buns end up staying in the shelter. Try hand-feeding her the hay before syringe feeding. Did your vet say a possible cause for her not eating? Maybe she has pain elsewhere?

Hand feed her hay to start and see if she eats that. I see you’ve had your bunny for 4 weeks and she is an 8 year old angora. Senior bunnies require a lot of care. Did you adopt her from a shelter?

How long have you owned your Angora?

The whole concept of illegally buying rabbits as reptile food is so repulsive to me. And then selling off the babies frozen yeeesh :’-(

I’m a little bit late to this feed but I have a few comments. How did you go to the vet so fast? You went from not knowing any vets to getting an appointment in 5 min, being in and out in 10 min, and home in 1 minute? Did you really go to the vet? How is your bun now?

My bunny does this sometimes too! They work in weird ways. Do you shut off the light at night? Maybe inside the hooded litter box becomes too dark? Buns are odd.
