    Hello (finally!)

Welcome to the forum! She’s an adorable little bun. You seem really dedicated! I just have a few concerns. You mentioned she’s getting neutered but females don’t get neutered- they get spayed (although it is possible that the term neutered could be used interchangeably). Additionally, she is a...

    How to measure pellets

That was in regards to @Jasminebunny asking if you’d rehome and me telling her she doesn’t need more bunnies. Sorry bout the misunderstanding!

Bun doesn't recognise Bonded Bun after haircut

Sorry I read the title of this thread and just started laughing. it’s not a funny situation at all and hopefully will resolve itself soon but just slightly comical. I hope the bite heals fast :(

Bunny's poops have gone dark, small, and sporadic

Today, I noticed my bunny's poops have gotten smaller, darker, and less abundant than usual. He usual eats a ton of hay, poops lots, and flops over. He didn't really do any of that today. Should I give him infant gas drops? Will call the vet tomorrow morning but I want to try this since I can't...

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

Oh! Ya, I would never spray anything near my bun. I only use vinegar and water to clean his area and occasionally a pet-safe enzyme stain remover. I don't even mop the floor within a couple feet of his enclosure. Better safe than sorry!

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

What’s wrong with air fresheners? I have 2 diffusers in my apartment and never had any issues.

    food before surgery?

It boggles my mind that regular vets are not trained in working with the third most popular pet in the world. As much as I love my exotic vet, I hate paying astronomical bills.

    food before surgery?

I would not trust a vet that tells me to stop feeding my bun. I would maybe search for a new one? Every vet has their own methods when it comes to certain practices but this one is pretty indisputable.

    Litter training

It sometimes takes longer than a week. She’ll get it eventually. Just follow the steps and watch tips on YouTube.

    Litter training

I put my bunny’s pellet bowl in his litter box initially but then I stopped because I didn’t want him to associate his pellets as the place to do his business. I would continue with the conventional litter training (place all poops in litter box as soon as you see them, wipe up pee and dab it in...

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

Ok, just added carefresh so we'll see what happens. Literally a minute ago he peed right by his food bowls. I just changed his fleece last night!

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

Litter like care fresh? I have carefresh and woodstove pellets both stocked but I never use them since I switch out the pee pad so often. I'll try incorporating them both and see how it goes.

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

He has a fresh litter box and fresh hay before I go to sleep. I use pee pads clipped to the litter box and change them out once a day at night.

How to get hay out of carpet???

I use a lint roller because my rabbit has fleece bedding so I run into this issue with the applewood sticks he chews. Even a washing machine can’t get those wood chips out. A really strong vacuum may do the trick but those are expensive and an investment. I personally use this lint roller...

Advice for a bunny who partially stopped using his litter box

So my male 11 month old mini rex (neutered October 31st, 2019) decided to stop using his litter box. It started when he had a bit of GI stasis that has been taken care of. I don’t know if the two are related but about 3/4 weeks ago, he just partially stopped using his litter box. He does use it...
