I respectfully disagree. He has just been neutered himself, and taking him along to support her causes unnecessary stress for him. He needs to rest and heal properly. Each rabbit heals differently after a spay/neuter. If he is fine and eating well, no need to stress that there isn't a check up...

I don't think its wise to try new foods at this time when their bodies are readjusting. Stick to their usual foods for the time being :)

It's important your rabbit stays with the vet for a short while after s/he wakes up. This way they monitor the rabbit as well, and they determine if they have reacted negatively toward something. Hopefully that won't be the case, but it is good for vets to keep an eye on them a little. If...

If it's not mites and you cant figure out the issue, check your rabbits nails. They usually clean the insides of their ears at that exact spot. If nails are too long or even clipped incorrectly, with sharp edges, it could cause this problem. All the best!
