    I used a pea sized drop of ivermectin paste on the bald spot and it helped to get rid of the mites. make sure that it is beetween their shoulder blades so that they can't lick the paste off.

    Seems like he's doing very well under your care :) make sure the mother is nursing him and he'll be fine.

    Rabbits tend to not carry many deadly diseases, especially the babies. Take a look at the baby and see if it has been fed recently by checking if its tummy is full. maybe see if the mother is nearby. P.S. see if RHDV2 is in your area before handling it.

    I believe RHDV2 has only been found on Orcas island and not on the mainland. I just have my rabbits graze my backyard in a rabbit safe harness while I'm supervising.
