Can you get any hay into him at all? I had 2 with gi stasis that would not take Critical care. I would wrap strands of hay in a piece of dandelion or other green and sit on the floor and feed them that way.. it took about 2 weeks before they were eating normally.

Yes no dental problems at all he doesn’t like regular grass but loves the wheat grass. I started with small amounts of that but he is getting quite a bit now. I even tried hiding some hay in dandelion and he still spits it out.
