    Bunny Labor problems

She had 3 fetal giants. I checked on her again today and saw the third one stuck in her ******. I had to help her carefully remove it because she wasn't pushing. I'll get some kale, hopefully she doesn't have anymore babies in her but if she does I would like to get them out soon. I've been...

Toilet Training Tips Please - 7 month old male neutered rabbit

Maybe try having more than one litter box and slowly removing the ones he doesn't use, until he uses only one. If he gets used to peeing in the litter box only then he may begin to look for it more.

    Bunny Labor problems

My Holland lop has been in Labor for over an hour now and hasn't delivered any kits. I'm getting worried and wondering if anyone has any advice? She has had a few litters and many of the babies died, I'm pretty sure some of them were fetal giants so I watched her diet while she was pregnant. If...

    Kits scratching. Normal or not

Kits have very sensitive digestive systems so I would keep them on hay and mom's milk until 6 weeks old and then watch them closely when adding pellets. Daily checks on their eyes, ears, mouths, and bums are also very important. You shouldn't have to worry to much now that they have fur and...

    Shy New Rabbit...Help!

What works for me is not exactly petting and holding them but just sitting in an enclosure with them for a little bit and leaving, I think it helps them feel you're not a threat. I also hold my hand out for them to approach and smell, my buns push their head under my hand when they want to be...

    Shy New Rabbit...Help!

I have a wire fox terrier at home but we have to be so careful when it comes to bunnies because she will kill them. It's annoying but we have a system set up so that our buns are safe.

To spay or not to spay

I have been considering spaying my female rabbit when she turns 3, I was wondering if it is dangerous to do so. I have read about a risk of uterine cancer in 4 year old does. I am worried that the surgery for spaying a rabbit is risky and I don't want to lose her to that either.

    Help please

We have recently caught our neighbors rabbit again, we have caught him several times now. He is very skinny normally. This time he has blood in his nose and mouth. We have a dog and the rabbit snuck into our backyard, we don't know but we think the dog got him. My parents won't let me do...

    I'm worried about my bunny

She has been eating fine and I have been trying to feed her extra to get her weight back up. I don't want to breed her until she is at a good weight again. I have felt it again and it seems to have softened a little, I do think it is her stomach. Thank you for helping!

    I'm worried about my bunny

Right now one of my females has lost a lot of weight because she had a litter of kits. But I am not worried about that, I can feel a hard lump in her tummy. It is right under her ribs on the left side and I'm not sure if it is an organ or if it should be so hard. This might be dumb, but I am...

    Bunny won't stop biting

Thank you all! I meant, when I said hurt, whether or not scolding would scare her. It probably wouldn't work. But I would never hurt my bunnies.

    Bunny won't stop biting

We just got a new bunny, overall she is very sweet. But when we are giving her food or water she will attack you. I don't know what to do about this, I don't want to hurt her but I do want to teach her that it is ok for us to put our hands in her cage. When she is outside of her she is fine...

Litter of 7 born today....Need help & advise please

The babies should be able to stay warm as long as they are covered up, also they are inside so it will be even safer. You can check their tummies tomorrow to see if they are full, baby bunnies are the cutest congratulations!

Where should I bury my bunny?

I think burrying her somewhere you can visit her and pay your respects is important, so maybe your mum's house. Otherwise cremation is a good choice.

I think my rabbit has worms

I have recently noticed worms in my rabbits poop, I haven't seen very many. I was sitting with him and when he moved I saw he pooped but there was a small white worm on his poop. I am wondering what the best medication to use for worms is. I don't want it to get worse but I am worried about...
