What type of litter does everyone use?

Yes it's clumping. I've never been told that. Why isn't it safe?

What type of litter does everyone use?

    My lop had babies

So, my baby bun is 11 weeks old on Tuesday. I removed mom for her spay 9 days ago. Dad has been neutered as well. ( two months ago) All three are separated, but next to each other. My vet stated she can resume normal activities after two weeks. Can I start bonding mom and dad again? Or should...

Ohhh okay. That makes sense. Sounded like the vet was operating on his bowels as well...My baby is still not hormonal, totally litter trained and not spraying yet. Could be a girl for all I know. But when the dad comes near its cage it growls at him. And lunges. Lol

How can a female still get pregnant after a spay? They do a total hysterectomy . I don't think that's possible...lol

    New rabbit owner

My baby bun is 11 weeks old, and they can't even tell the *** yet, so I've been told to wait a minimum of 20 weeks. A regular vet fixed my boy (it's dad) but he was two years old.

    New rabbit owner

Ive been told they can't be neutered or spayed before 6 months of age...is your vet an exotic vet? Specialized in rabbits? Why would a vet do more to a bunny than what's needed?? Doesn't sound right to me

Never give them grass that the lawnmower has cut, I read that the emissions from the mower can contaminate it. Just cut it with scissors first what you need before the mower cuts it. Also carrots are not good daily. Tops are good though. Apparently they should have carrots very sparingly...

    Should I neuter a well-behaved bunny?

My male bun sprayed terribly before he was neutered. Then he didn't do it at all. Then I moved his cage beside hers and the one baby they had and he will sit beside her cage and pool out urine. Looks more like clear water, not urine. But it's a pain in my butt cleaning up constantly. I just...

Need advice : Older rabbit humping baby bunny

He won't be allowed to jump up on anything while he heals. My male was neutered end of November, my female was spayed last Wednesday and she's alone now too in her Xpen. Baby will be next. It is a process! I'm hoping to rebond my male and female in two weeks.

    Personality Change After Neuter/Spay

I had my male neutered two months ago, he's the sweetest loving bun I've ever had. He kisses me, loves attention. He would spray all over before. Then that quit but he's still a lovebug. I just had my girl bun spayed Wednesday, and her cage is beside his and now he's marking all over again...

    Bunny won't eat hay

He gets lots, he has a 5x5 Xpen and he's free roaming anywhere from 3-5 hours a day. Vet didn't mention medication, he just said it was a common thing. Love to know if anyone else has had a bun with tail problems. I will try that, mixing some green's in his hay. Thanks

    Bunny won't eat hay

My bun wouldn't eat hay either. His teeth get too long to chew it, I took him again yesterday for a trim and because the teeth get trimmed straight across and not on the angle which naturally occurs when they chew, my vet told me it will take a bit for him to chew it. I kept trying to get him to...

Going on vacation... Where to house bunny?

If it was me. I'd do up three days of favorites, like Apple lettuce etc...(in three little containers so they can give each day what they like...I'm sure they will have pellets and hay, but I'd ask anyway...just so you know what they're getting.

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Today I was able to put a bowl of warm water under his tail while he was lying down. Did soften it , but couldn't remove it . But afterwards he was picking at it. Not sure if much came off...So cornstarch won't hurt him if he licks it? May have to try that next. Thanks

Poop stuck on bottom of rabbit feet

Love to know an answer to this, because my bun has a patty stuck to his fur under his tail. I've tried to put warm soaking cloths to it to soften, he doesn't like me touching it and I've failed to get it off every time I try.

Oh, I misread the hay and water part. Sorry And yes, kale and parsley are not every day, I alternate with spinach as well.
