bunny REFUSES to eat rabbit food

Does he not like hay or the pellets? What type of hay are you giving? any specific brand? Same with pellets, what brand are you giving? Usually bunnies go crazy for pellets regardless of the brand but of course we have to give them the one that meets the required nutrition :) As for hay...

Do you have to cut a rabbits teeth?

I agree with most of the replies before me. Giving hay will help keep their teeth worn down but there are some bunnies where their teeth will grow faster than usual due to genetic issues even with unlimited hay. The bunny will require regular trimming with the vet. It is not advisable to do it...

Thinking about moving inside for summer

oh thats great! Way better than what I initially thought you had planned. And yes, I did see your reply, and I may have some few takes on it: - Can they stay indoors all the time in the set up you made? - In regards to your male mounting on your female, I think he's being territorial. Has it...

Electronic rat repellent harmful to my Rabbit?

hmm it does say its safe to humans and non-rodent pets. Rabbits aren't rodents anyway ;) Though we did have something similar before, it didn't seem to work as there were still rats in the house :| maybe that brand is better

Thinking about moving inside for summer

hmm can you get a playpen? or maybe the biggest dog cage and just put soft flooring on it. I do hope you keep them indoors even after the summer, it would be so much safer for them and they get more human interaction. If ever you decide to do this, then hopefully you get a playpen soon :)

    Pulled tooth

oh my, yes, please do find a an exotic vet that can treat your bun. The teeth will grow back but not sure if it will grow back correctly like what Hermelin said :( Maybe go to the nearest vet first, even if s/he isn't exotic, ask for an xray and pain meds (metacam), then when you find an...

    Older & Younger

Please get your male neutered. It would be very stressful for your female if he keeps mounting her :( I know there's a high risk in getting rabbits fixed at an old age, but hopefully if the vet can get his cbc and blood chem and see if the results are normal, he would be able to survive the...

My rabbit pees in my bed

Yes, it does seem like she's marking her territory. Whenever I start to see their tails lift up, it means they're about to pee. Not I know they don't like to be carried but if they're in a place where they shouldn't pee, I would get them and put them in their litterbox. They're all fixed an...

    Basil what are people thoughts

I tried giving basil once, but only as a treat. At first they weren't sure if they could eat it. They would just sniff and hop away. But I would just leave it their bowl, few moments later, they'd eat it!

    Neutered? Blood test again?

I would go for a blood test for any rabbit procedure because this would help to see if the bunny is healthy enough to go through the procedure :)

Thinking on getting friend for my rabbit......

Maybe get your current bunny neutered first and then adopt a friend for him 2months after. I said 2months because thats how long their hormones will die down after neuter. If you can adopt a spayed bunny, then it would be easier for you to bond them. If the bunny you'll be adopting is not yet...

    Is this normal?

I would believe so :) Even hoomans drink more water when it's hot :) Maybe give oreo things that would keep her cool :) Here's a list I made before, I'm sure there are more tips that other members can share :)

First time Bunny Boarding experiences (nervous bunny mummy)

I had to go on a 10day trip before and my bunny had to be confined the night before I had to leave!! So much panic, I was crying and thinking of not going. But the vet said they'll said daily updates and videos, though sometimes they'd forget, so I would have to call them haha As long as they...

    Bunny won’t eat after spay

oh my, it is necessary for them to get pain medication after surgery :( is there anyway you can get some delivered to you? not sure if that's possible. But yes, females do take more time recovering after spay. For me, my boys ate just a few hours after coming home. With my girl, took her almost...

    Lip is bruised!!

I'm thinking maybe dental issues? Have you had her checked by the vet already? If not you might want to get an xray to see if her teeth are okay :)
