    Breeding Rabbits with parasite problem?

It may not be a parasite issue... and we can't tell you if there is one. :) stool sample to the vet will potentially give some answers. at 10 weeks of age... PRIME age to develop entropathic illness...and with this wonky weather we've had all winter... young bunnies can get stressed, it sets...

How many days in a row can u use same buck

You can use the same buck every day. As long as you get a cover by the buck (and see ejaculate in the does vent) you don't need to rebreed her again three hours later. Most breeders want two covers, but one will do the trick too. I am assuming that you have an end result for all the kits you...

'Play date' for Bunnies, a thing or not?

recommendation.. NO. rabbits carry all sorts of diseases that they are immune to, but can (and do) spread to others they have contact with or even are within breathing distance.

    Bunny not drinking from bottle

not drinking!!! not good. Bad weather could have stressed him and it's affecting his gut. Get some electrolyte solution into him and get him drinking ASAP.

    Cling ons

OR (if she's not neutered) be simply a case of hormones. She's old enough she doesn't need alfalfa.

    Bunny not eating! Need help!

carrots not so good for bunny . you need to think GREEN food like carrots tops, parsley and the like. Couple things potentially going on 1. hormones are messing her up so she's switching how she eats.. this is where you as bunny mom says "eat your meat and potatoes or NO TREATS" OR 2. she's...

I think my rabbit is pregnant what do you think?

boy she's not very clean is she? She's either preggers or fat. Impossible to tell from pictures.

    Is she pregnant or no?

nope. If a doe is bred, rebreeding won't affect a thing. If the doe is bred WHILE giving birth it's dangerous for the kits. Rabbits can reabsorb their kits which can affect how they appear and they can be born in various stages of that reabsorption, and some kits simply don't develop as...

Had to move a nest with 2 week old kittens. Will the doe be affected?

generally not. There are does that are the exception but generally, if you need to move them, move them.

    Is she pregnant or no?

Rabbits CANNOT have two litters at the same time. They can't. They can have babies that don't form uniformly, they can have babies start to be reabsorbed, but they can't have two distinct pregnancies at the same time. :)

Our Bunny Passed Away Last Night- Questions....

this is one of the sad things about rabbits. Seemingly normal perfectly happy rabbits can die unexpectedly. it's always a shame.

    My rabbit came pregnant

I'd be removing the nestbox and return it in a couple of hours to the generalized area where she had the kits. Does do adjust to their nestboxes being moved... Honestly she just sounds like a ditzy first timer. You remove the box to ensure the safety of the kits. removing it won't negate...

    Is she pregnant or no?

give her a nest box and see what happens. Breeding receptivity, just so you know, has NOTHING to do with pregnancy. Some does will still breed even when they are obviously pregnant. Just as some does are reluctant breeders even when all the signs point to "now is the time to breed". So it...

I think my rabbit is pregnant what do you think?

why is this so frustrating? It's just a matter of waiting it out for no more than 35 days (and you've already covered a week). Leave her alone in her own cage and stop messing with her. She's a possibly pregnant doe in a new environment. IF she is potentially pregnant make sure she has...

    Have they been fed?

they don't appear to have been fed. be real careful hand feeding them. They aspirate VERY easily.

    Is my rabbit pregnant?

Day 28 is the normal day to give a nestbox. If she is in a solid bottom cage you can get away with giving her lots of hay, straw, strips of paper and she can build her own nest. If she starts carrying hay around is a good indicator of wanting/needing a nest box as well. Some does nest...

    Calculating correct amount of water

in some cultures rabbits aren't given water at all, they simply are given green feed and they get the water they need from that. So extrapolating from that... if critical care has a daily supply of water in it, then that's the amount needed and it counts. :)

Is my bunny a Dwarf Blanc de Hetot?

blanc de hotot's are big and not very commom, most likely a dwarf hotot or a mix thereof. he could be a pure hotot but you don't know for sure as you don't have to pedigree for him. He's a bit on the larger size for a show quality one.
