    Shedding or a problem?

Ok, I've only been brushing her about twice a week. Partly because I couldn't find her favorite brush and had to use one she didn't like. But I've found her favorite brush so now she must endure once a day brushing. 🙃

    Shedding or a problem?

Ok, thank you for confirming that she's ok, and I'm not hurting her 😂. She absolutely hates it when I pluck her fur out and usually thumps and grunts when I put her down, but she's also a bittttt of a drama queen.

    Shedding or a problem?

Lulu has always shed a lot. But now with summer coming around, she's started to shed even more. I noticed her little floofy bottom has become very, well, floofy. She won't let me brush her near her tail, where all the hair is, so I pull it out. The picture of all the hair in my hand is from one...

    Beating the heat

Ok, thank you! I know it's bad for them to be outside in the heat, and thankfully it doesn't usually get up to 100. If it does, I'll try and get my parents to let me bring them live inside for a bit. Its never very humid, almost always under 20. It's super dry where I live.

    Beating the heat

Hey guys! I hope you and your buns are all staying healthy and safe! I just wanted a few suggestions about what to do in summer. Here the temps can get up to 100 in the summer. We just had our first hot day of the year, 85°. I know about wetting their ears slightly, but I don't know of...

    How should I punish biting?

She was obviously in pain. Poor thing. She didn't move for about 2 ½ days. Poor thing. The other bun though when he got neutered, they had to do almost the same procedure because he was still kind of young, and he was playing a day after.

    How should I punish biting?

I don't think it would be being scared about being out at night. She is honestly fearless. Except for my hands, apparently, those are terrifying compared to a lawnmower. She actually doesn't even move when we mow the backyard near their cage. She's an odd one. I sincerely wish that she could be...

    How should I punish biting?

I QUOTE="edikit, post: 1146062, member: 27702"] No shame here. Rabbit savvy vets are notoriously expensive and are not always the right option anyway IMO. Especially in the US, I feel like our small animal veterinary care is still a decade behind other countries, unfortunately. A local rescue...

    How should I punish biting?

I'll try that. I've seen other people say they do it, but I didn't think its actually work. Maybe it'll work! I don't think she has any vision problems. She can follow my hand and other treats and toys pretty well when I getting her to do something. Next time she's at the vet, which honestly may...

    How should I punish biting?

I'm trying to just keep going and reward her good habits and now I'll just ignore her biting, I would really miss her if I ever gave her back to a shelter. She honestly has the weirdest personality. Happy little head tosses or binkys and then I put some hay in her feeder and she gets all grumpy...

    How should I punish biting?

This is a big thing that just happened! When I went out, she's an outside bun( I want her inside, but too many people are allergic to her in my family to do that 😓 ), to give her her morning pellets she came racing out of her cage and when I got in her area she started circling my feet!!! I'm so...

    How should I punish biting?

I'm pretty sure that her eyesight and hearing are ok. I've kind of trained her to come to her name, and she's really good at following treats and toys. The shelter I got her from wasn't a big shelter, it's specifically for bunnies horses and animals like that that regular shelters won't take...

    How should I punish biting?

Whether she bites me every day or she stops biting me, I'll continue to love her. I'd never put her back in a shelter because I'm pretty sure no one else would want her sweet little face. Then you know what would happen. 😢 Like I said before, I'll do this if she is still biting, just from...

    How should I punish biting?

That's what I was thinking, that it was a little extreme for her right now, thanks for confirming that. I pet her yesterday while she was in her litterbox eating hay, and she didn't rush, nip, or bite me. And she didn't nip or bite once when we were playing together yesterday, she did rush me...

    How should I punish biting?

Ok, wow. That seems super harsh, but I suppose I'd probably work if her biting got out of hand. I'm not that crazy desperate yet to pin her on the ground, but if she were to bite a many times a day again, I'll try it.

    How should I punish biting?

Thank you for the information! I really hope she'll turn out like your buck did.

    How should I punish biting?

Alright. Later I'll work with her when I give her a salad. She usually doesn't mind me near her while eating, but I don't know about petting her.

    How should I punish biting?

I've had her for almost 5 months. She's was probably mistreated at the shelter she was at, because she was super ragged looking ( she probably hadn't been brushed in literally a year ), scared of everything, and bit or nipped me about 10 times a week. I am so glad I rescued her though. Poor...

    How should I punish biting?

Ok, but why would she be territorial when she's sitting on my lap? With her already fully marked up blanket I use for when she's sitting with me in case she pees? I'd think she's already pretty much said that's hers. If this sounds like I'm being a know-it-all, I'm sorry, I'm not, realized this...
