    4 H bunnies

Yes... exactly why I never approve of 4H or of allowing rabbits to be given to people participating in 4H. They are just an object to them, a commodity. They are unenlightened.

    4 H bunnies

Thanks so sorry to hear about your situation. Please contact your local chapter of the House rabbit society and ask them for a referral or other resources. Best of luck to you and your bunny.

    Would my rabbit get pregnant

I would not recommend spaying the female at this age. If anything, neuter the male, but that's all. And only neuter if you have a kidney function test first to make sure he can withstand the anesthesia.

    Is my rabbit fat?

He looks in very good condition to me. I would just keep on doing what you've been doing. Many people are not familiar with pet rabbits and don't know what they're talkin about... Does your bunny have a dewlap? I don't see one.

I don't know how to save my rabbit

Try greens, moistened with water... cilantro and romaine, fennel if you can get some. If she won't eat apple, give her applesauce with the syringe. The baby food applesauce is especially good for the syringe and I have found it to help a lot in getting them to eat. As others said, take...

I feel like I'm neglecting my rabbit..

6 years isn't that old for a Lop, they often live to a great age, double that and more. It's not too late to change her circumstances. I commend you for taking an interest and encourage you to get started.

    Conjunctivitis...

Best thing I have found is Terramycin opthalmic ointment. Can be ordered various places online, no rx needed, but it works great.

    Wire for the cage floor?

Wire floors can be good if the correct wire is used and an alternative material resting area is also provided. Not so good if inappropriate materials are used and/or the rabbit has no place to go for relief from the wire. Best is 12 gauge galvanized after weld rabbit wire. If you can't get it...

Questions about my bunny and weed?

Smoke, any kind of smoke at all, is toxic for rabbits. They have a delicate cardiovascular system. Their respiration is much faster than ours, so they are getting more exposure to the smoke than we are. Even rabbits not exposed to smoke are prone to respiratory issues. Even smoke from a...

Forced to leave my bunny forever

Oh, no.... I am so sorry. I can imagine how you feel. Your bunny does love you, licking you is proof of that. And I can tell you love your bunny. I have only a little experience with foreign visas. I live in the United States, but I have visited places requiring a visa. Here is my thought and I...

    help!!!!! baby bunnies

Theo.... love the way you think! I don't know where you are located, but there is likely a way you can enjoy babies without contributing to the rabbit overpopulation crisis...but by helping instead. You could serve as a foster parent for a mother and babies. Contact your local shelter and...

    Hand raising baby bunny

If you can get it, use the Wombaroo rabbit milk replacer instead. It's costly, but with just one bunny, you won't need a whole lot. The cheapest place I have found it is from allthingsbunnies.com If you can't find it, use Petlac Kitten milk replacement. But switch gradually, mixing the milks...
