How long post neuter until he's sterile?

May I ask why you're not planning to spay your girl? It's really up to you guys as owners but it can save a lot of money in the long run as unspayed girls have a huge chance at developing uterine cancer that can spread throughout their body.

Does anyone want to guess what breed my rabbit is?

He is adorable! In the flop he totally looks like my bun flopped over. Her favourite place to flop and sleep is right beside the space heater. I always have to make sure she's not burning herself because she's right against it for hours on end.

    My bunny started dry sneezing

She had pre existing issues. Did a swab testing her nose bacteria and it came back as normal so they weren't concerned. But as soon as I heard her sniffle I took her in. Sniffling could be nothing but it could also be something terrible, in our situation it was a lung infection. No other...

    My bunny started dry sneezing

Sodium chloride through a nebulizer. Ciloxan solution which are drops for her nostrils. Azithromycin which is an antibiotic. And meloxicam for pain. She just stopped the medicines on Sunday and I'm taking her back in ASAP.

    teen bunny struggles

I totally understand moody teenage bunnies. My girl got spayed a month ago but a couple of weeks before and a few weeks after she was SO cranky. First, I had to completely block off my bed with an x-pen because she would pee and poop all over it. My mom couldn't even come into my room because...

Bunny Misbehaving? (ripping up carpet, chewing through cords, etc.)

I got mine lots of toys and fun things she is allowed to chew on. Most of my wires are covered by wire covers but some things (keyboard wire, mouse, headphones etc) are not covered, when I see her wanting to play with them I gave her a little bop on the nose and firmly say NO. Nothing to hurt...

    Arthritis

If your bunny will let you, gently massaging their legs can help alleviate the tension and soreness.

Does anyone want to guess what breed my rabbit is?

I found her as a feral. Didn't know any better and took her home. She is absolutely one of the many loves of my life (also a mom to three dogs). Not that it matters, but I have been trying to search for her breed with no luck. ' She doesn't look like anything... very strange proportions. Her...

How to get pee out of bed.

You can use an enzyme cleaner. It will break down stains, especially bodily fluids.

    My bunny started dry sneezing

Check her too if there is any nose discharge. Heard my rabbit sniffle a few times, brought her into the vet and she has a lung infection. I caught it before it spread throughout her body. Don't want to worry you but if a rabbit is sniffling it's probably not normal.

I'm starting a TNR program in my city to end the population of feral bunnies. Concerned about them moving indoors back outdoors.

Bunnies will be in foster homes for 2-3 weeks so they can recover from surgery. Thought of the problem that once they acclimate to indoor temperatures, releasing them back into the city might face some problems. It's winter right now. Very might but we are facing temperatures up to -10C (will...

    Bunny Licking Me

My bunny grooms me in the middle of the night lol. Right now my bed is currently blocked off cuz she kept peeing in it, but usually me, her, and at least one of the dogs would sleep in the bed. She has two modes, run around and jump onto and off of the bed or she'll sit there for hours licking...

If anyone has experience with teaching their rabbit tricks, I need help finalizing the "fetch" command.

My rescued bun is super smart. She's learned spin, paw, and walk (on hind legs) in less than a month. Our current trick we are working on it fetch but it's quite difficult. We're using a wooden spoon as her fetch object. She knows how to pick it up on command. Sometimes she'll fling it...

    Bunnies won’t bond!

Some good signs of bunny bonding are turning their back towards each other, licking each other, ignoring each other. I would also keep a dustpan (or something like that) when doing bonding so that if they fight you can quickly put the dustpan between them.

    Bunnies won’t bond!

It can take a really long time. I've heard some people on reddit months to bond their rabbits. Don't give up! A few helpful tricks can be putting them more in a small crate (could also be something like a laundry or storage bin) and you can gently shake or rocks the crate so they get stressed...

Please pray for my bunny - She has a lung infection

I found and rescued her as an outdoor bunny. Unfortunately came in quite sick. The lung infection was most likely something she caught from living outside for so long. They noticed a bit of nose discharge when I first got her but they were not concerned because it went away with treatment after...

Please pray for my bunny - She has a lung infection

She's doing fine. She's always been such a loving and happy bun. The first few days of her medicines (she takes three in the morning plus her nostril drops and one in the evening plus her nebulizer) were so incredibly rough, especially the nostril drops. She never really minded getting picked...

Please pray for my bunny - She has a lung infection

My poor rabbit has a lung infection. Luckily, I was able to catch it and bring her into the vet before it spread or became a chronic issue. We're back to the schedule of giving her several different medicines/drops and putting her in a nebulizer everyday. I'm still anxiously waiting for the lab...
