Honestly I say no- I'm anti-covered litterbox and the usual model used for rabbits has only 1 enterance/exit, which I personally believe isn't good for bunnies. Children's plastikote and unboiled linseed oil are both safe sealants if you choose to use it.

I just wanted to add that Orchard isn't always softer- 2nd and 3rd cut timothy is easily much more soft than 1st cut orchard. Timothy also has that "barn" smell that some don't like.

If I decide on the pen I'm most likely going to be expanding it to at least a foot longer and a foot wider as I do think it's rather small and levels don't really count as floorspace IMO. Yup, we currently use the baby gate for Odyssey and she's an escape artist but it's been good. Thank you!
