    Is this safe??

I'm not sure. I probably would err on the side of caution and not use it. Your in luck though! Rabbit poo is GREAT fertilizer! If you want to use it. People actually buy rabbit poo for their gardens.

    Cheap, reliable vacuum?

I just use a broom and dustpan to sweep up stray poos. Lots of hay normally doesn't escape from her litterbox, but if it does, i just shake out her carpet squares. I have the commercial building carpet, so its dense and easy to shake. In my opinion a broom works better than a vacuum. Vacuums...

    Opinions on closed litter boxes?

I have a cat litterbox with the top off and it works great to keep stray poo in.

    Rabbitry Cage Design

Since it's in your google drive, we need access to open it. Anytime anyone clicks that link, they have to ask for permission to view. Also, 3 sq feet for a rabbit is so small. Did you find that info online? So long as they get 3-4 hours run around time that is fine :D. I think minimum for...

What can I grow in my own yard or indoors?

I'm not totally sure which flowers would be good. I am actually really good at killing plants. 😂 I had too cacti and one somehow got eaten by bugs, the other i over-watered 🤦‍♀️ We use tarps to cover our tomato plants during spring frosts. I'm not familiar with temperatures in Sweden though...

    New to the rabbit world

Pine shavings are bad, not pellets. The shavings emit a chemical when mixed with pee, but pellets don't. Rabbit poo doesn't smell......... it could be the pee, but to prevent the smell, change the litterbox every few days to a week. Whenever it starts to smell, just change it.

    Wild rabbit friend

I live in Iowa too 😁. So far RHDV2 has not spread to Iowa. I would just be careful with letting her associate with wild rabbits. I hope her ear gets better soon :(!!!!

    New to the rabbit world

I would NEVER EVER use a electric fence. We have one for cows, but even a weak one could be dangerous for a bunny. It could easily go into shock! The bigger hutch would be better! I would say the large area with a warm hutch. Also, bunnies really don't stink much..... are they litterbox trained...

    Depression

Check and make sure he isn't hurt in any way. Hurt rabbits will try to hide or go into a corner. Are you sure he is just depressed? If he is, make sure he still gets food/water and pet him lots! He needs to continue to eat and drink.

My parents are scared of RHDV2

Coronavirus (COVID-19) frequently asked questions According to the link above, so far they don't think it can. It would only be in your home and yard anyway right? Right when you get it, if you are worried about that, maybe just use a damp (not wet, just slightly damp) towel and rub the...

My parents are scared of RHDV2

I would just say take obvious precautions, like washing your hands before and after hanging with your rabbit. It would be a good practice to wash hands anyway. During flu season and now covid season, i wash my hands sooooo much. :) Hope you can adopt the bunny of your dreams 😂😍. It would...

My parents are scared of RHDV2

I searched again and found that as of April 20th 2020, only 3 domestic rabbits have had it. It doesn't seem like many. As long as you are washing your hands, it should be okay. Also, it can't spread to humans.

My parents are scared of RHDV2

RHDV2 as far as I know, hasn't spread to all the states in the USA. Delta and Vancouver Island, Canada – February 2018 Ohio – September 2018 Orcas Island, Washington – 2019 Pennsylvania - 2019 New York City, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas – 2020 I found the above from Oxbow Animal Health this...

    Wild rabbit friend

You could try using diatomaceous earth. You can sprinkle it in her food and in the areas she plays. It kills fleas and i believe insects also. Its small pieces (powder) of fossilized algae and it cuts bugs up, but is too small to harm animals. We use it for our chickens. It is safe for rabbits too.

    Flowers as food?

Those look like violets (wild violets) to me. Do they have some color is the middle? If this is what they are, yes it is okay that he ate them. We have some purple ones here and a few white.

    Is it normal?

Yes. I believe that is normal. The fur on lots of bunnies ears doesn't grow very long. Don't worry! :3
