Keeping rabbits cool in summer Hope this helps! It was a recent thread, so instead of a repeat, I decided to paste it ;)

    I'm new !

I understand how you feel though @Jasminebunny. On one hand you want to ask for advice, but on the other hand you're afraid people won't take your advice because you had to ask for advice. I felt that way a while ago until I realized, nobody knows everything and it's okay to ask for advice. ;)

    Rabbit Proofing

After I got my rabbit I had no knowledge on bunnies what-so-ever. So, I free roamed the first few days without proofing. I've had her in single rooms, but I decided to cover all the cords in our basement. There are quite a few...........so, i was wondering what cord casing you used. I don't have...

Moving East coast to West coast

A heat lamp would be great! My rabbit lives in the garage and I use a heater. It depends on how cold it gets. Here is can get pretty cold but the walls break the wind and the heater helps. Depending on how hot it gets you might want to consider using a fan also.

My rabbit is chewing holes in her pee pad?

Spayed and unspayed rabbits chew. Its just what rabbits do. Like others said, just remove the pee pad. When she is spayed she will most likely only go in her litter box. My rabbit is unspayed and only goes in her litter box. Anyway, its not an issue. Nothing is wrong with your bunny. :)

    From Jasminebunny

*Jasminebunny asked me to post this on her behalf* I'm sorry for lying! I'm actually 12 and my pets aren't spayed/neutered but I was too scared to say so for fear of getting in trouble. I'm sorry for lying and will tell the truth! I will tell you whatever you want to know. Please forgive me...

What is the ideal age to sterilize your rabbit?

It is riskier to do it on a 4 moth rabbit, so most vets prefer 6 months. A rabbit can become pregnant at 3 weeks though so you would have to seperate male and female until after they get fixed. As for veggies, carrots, apple, strawberry, and banana are great treats. They can have 1-2 tablespoons...

Is it normal for bun to change colour?

Yes, some bunnies do change color. Mine was a lighter bunny, now she has turned to a black color. When she sheds, she gets lighter again though. I love this picture of Odin 😍 😍 😍 😍 His nose is so cute!

    Question on litter training

No problem! I hope she does too! Every time she poops outside of her litterbox, just move it to her litter box. It should help.

How do you handle set backs and keep staying positive

For me, art is very calming. I take an art class at a gallery which had to move online due to Covid 19. This image was really relaxing to work on. It doesn't seem like it, since it is a skull. It was relaxing since I was able to go outside and let Bunster run around while I drew. I love doing...

    Question on litter training

My rabbit isn't spayed and she gets everything in the litterbox except every once in a while a stray poo. Spaying/neutering helps them litter train. It depends on the rabbit. Some rabbits start litter training the day they come home from getting fixed.

I didn't know goose nettle was either 😂 I knew plantain, but googled more. I now want to try drying nettle also.

Is it safe for buns to play outside?

Bunster totally adores being outside. I take her into the middle of our field and do school or whatever while she runs around. It's okay for rabbits to be outside. You would need to watch her, like you said. Keep an eye out for hawks though. We have chickens so hawks really love circling our...

    Good Non-Leafy foods

I give some carrots but not much maybe a small piece every few days. I also give her some banana and apple which she totally loves but i don't give her much since it has lots of sugar. Sometimes she will also get strawberry when we have them on hand. If the reason you are looking for non-leafy...
