Large bald spot on nursing doe’s stomach

Weird! My does never nurse past 6 weeks. Maybe it's per the breed.

Large bald spot on nursing doe’s stomach

I'm guessing you've checked for mites and fleas. I don't think it would be from nursing since babies should be weaned by now? It's been pretty humid here in New York which can lead to bacterial skin infections. This is an article from one of my favorite sources that explains a variety of...

    Summer Adventures!

My rabbits can’t come out as often as I’d like because it get HOT and humid in New York. Chia Linden (she’s matured a lot since these photos (which where only taken a month ago lol)) Alex The fluffy rabbit is Ashes and the two young kits are Luna and Jane. The rabbits in the basket are...

What color is this Netherland Dwarf?

I'm pretty sure cinnamon is lacking the dark brown under color that a chestnut would have. They look pretty close to a chestnut when adults, but don't appear as dark. You can find a lot of cinnamon Netherland Dwarfs on FB pages for reference as well as Google. Like @CrazyChickenGirl said, some...

What color is this Netherland Dwarf?

    I'm pretty sure this is a Cinnamon. It's an unshowable color that is similar to a chestnut. For reference, this is one of my chestnut Netherland Dwarfs;

Wild bunny found, dropped, has no balance

Some good plants to try are clover, plantain, or dandelion (root, flower, and stem). He would be eating these in the wild. As for grasses, try small amounts of something like timothy or orchard grass. He's probably somewhat constipated from stress. Besides taking him to the vet you can give him...

Wild bunny found, dropped, has no balance

Poor dude, it's so strange that he can't stand without falling, I wonder if he got dropped on his head? Or he could just be still learning how to walk lol. I give my adult rabbits 1ml, I'd say give him half of that. They usually like it because it tastes good. He does look stronger than I...

Should I get a second rabbit

I know some rabbits live in colonies, and after doing a little more research, I found that European wild rabbits are known more to live in colonies. There's the article where I read about it, it's actually pretty interesting Wild Rabbits - Facts, Diet & Habitat Information Here in the USA wild...

Wild bunny found, dropped, has no balance

Holy moly what a day this bunny has had. Goats milk works best to fatten up a baby, you may be able to find some at your local grocery store or farmer. Giving him infant gas drops may help if his stomach is bloated with gas, which may be why he's not going to the bathroom. It sounds like...

    Rabbit breed?

Those are some GIANT ears. How much does he weigh? With the way his ears flop a little, I would say he has some lop in him. I would say he might have some Flemish in him, but since he's small like you say, I doubt it.

Should I get a second rabbit

If your rabbit is happy and satisfied, I don't see the need to get him a friend. Rabbits have always been known to be solitary in the wild, thus making them the same in domestication. Besides, most times when you bond rabbits together, they don't really care to be with you as much as they once did.

    What Breed is my Rabbit?

That tuft of hair on the nape of his neck looks like he may have some Lionhead in him 😆 Since he's bigger in size, I would say he is a Mini Lop mix. Btw his color is called Tricolor.

    Are These Safe?

Timothy grass, Orchard grass, and Kentucky bluegrass are perfectly safe and part of "hay" part of the rabbit's diet. Turnip greens can be fed in small amounts as well as chicory. I couldn't find much on Chia for rabbits, but I'm pretty sure they can at least eat the plant. Clovers (I'm...

    Housing for unbonded bunnies??

Rabbits are solitary animals. They don't really need a bond mate. If your rabbits are happy (binkies, zoomies, etc.), eating, acting normal, and you spend a decent amount of time with them, I wouldn't worry. It's hard to socially neglect a rabbit if you spend enough time with them each day. If...

    Bunny in heat wave advice?

I hear people really like using frozen spare floor tiles (ceramic or clay) and the rabbit lays on them to cool down. If you can have a few of those on hand and ready so you can switch them out. Have lots of frozen water bottles and ice packs ready. I have seen kids at my 4H fair spray their...

    How to tell rabbits apart.

Marking their ear with a permanent marker is safe and stays on for a long time lol. But after a little while, you will be able to tell them apart on small physical features and personalities, no problem. Here's my favorite video to help identify rabbits' gender:
