    Introducinng Prince Charming .

After losing Toffee, Valentina was finally ready to go speed dating at one of the local shelters. She met her new Beau, aptly named Prince Charming. Not a name I would have chosen but will keep it out of respect. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed but they seem to love each other already...

    Returning a rescue

It's a hard time, socially, physically, mentally. We're all doing the best we can including you. Here's a big hug for you 🤗 The rescue should have set up a speed dating session for you and your bun. (I'm taking my female speed dating tomorrow). You are new to this but they aren't. Sounds like...

    Farewell Lady

Big hugs 🤗 My male died after surgery too... A couple weeks after. It's devastating. It's been 3 1/2 months and I still cry often. I guess we have to take solace in knowing we did everything we could. Still hurts though.

How long it takes to neuter a rabbit?

My buns prefer their medicine in a tiny bit of mashed banana 🍌 good disguise 😊

are groundhogs a threat to rabbits?

Also, have chicken wire or another covering on top of the run to protect from raptors, crows, or other avian predators.

    clear mucus in bunny poop

A little off topic, you seem to really care about your buns so you probably know that some wood shavings become toxic when mixed with urine. I'm sure you are using safe ones but I had to mention it for my own peace of mind. 😁

What Breed would be Best for Me?

I think fostering first is a good idea since you may find your allergies are unmanageable. It would be a shame to return rabbits that think they have found their forever home.

    Grips for a slippery surface

I got the photo to load 😀 This is just one part of her space; she has most of my apartment. You can see her in the hay. She only has 3 legs but she's a strong and determined girl.

    Grips for a slippery surface

Thanks for the suggestions. I currently have flannel over the plastic but there are two issues : it slips around and she is also nibbling on it. I like the bath mat idea but I know she'll chew on it. I've covered the slippery bottom with hay as a 'hay buffet' as well as a soft landing but the...

    Grips for a slippery surface

I've added a two level house for my buns enjoyment but the platforms are hard plastic - slippery. I need to adhere something to give the platforms a good grip but she'll eat whatever I add. So, I need some help creating a non slip surface that won't hurt her if she eats it. Ideas? Thank you.
