Weird patch of fur on head??

My little Honey just got these lines on her head too and they're a different color - so I'm glad you asked the question cuz I wasn't sure what was going on either!

    Pinworms in cecals?

You're a life saver. I used my food scale and just put them in a little bin and subtracted the weight of the bin! I did everyone's first round of medication today. They all did so well! Thanks everyone for your help 🖤

    Pinworms in cecals?

I thought about this method, I'm just worried it wont be precise enough, especially if the babies don't even weigh a pound yet 😕

    Pinworms in cecals?

Ok so they prescribed fenbendazole for the worms and a probiotic for her poopy bum. I bought safeguard liquid for goats (like @JBun previously suggested) for the other buns. They gave me pre-dosed .5 ml syringes for 5 days, and I have to repeat in 2 weeks and 4 weeks. So Mama is 4 pounds, is...

    Pinworms in cecals?

We're at the vet now. Poor mama has poopy butt this morning too! Praying we figure this out and get her healthy!

    Pinworms in cecals?

I appreciate all the info. This is the first and only poo I can see any worms. It's really freaked me out that all of a sudden there's this many in one bunch with no previous signs. I'm anxious for her visit in the morning. I'll be asking about meds for everyone.

    Pinworms in cecals?

I'm guessing I'll have to treat all 10 rabbits. Vet said the youngest are too young for meds but will get it through mom's milk. I'm daunted by trying to make sure all the poop is constantly cleaned out and removed. She'll eat it directly from herself anyway so it feels impossible. I'll ask...

    Pinworms in cecals?

I know right?? Weirdest thing! I've been monitoring her poop and it's looked so healthy. Round and dry. And then all of a sudden this morning - boom! I'm worried about the babies since I was putting some of mom's poos in their pen. She's got an appointment tomorrow morning. I'm stressed about...

    Pinworms in cecals?

Ok I'm freaking out a bit, upon my morning check on everyone I found large cecals in Mom's hutch with what looks like worms! I did some googling and they look like pinworms? I called the only rabbit vet near me and they're booked for 2 weeks, but the lady on the phone said you can get dewormer...

    Brand New Kits

I have another update! Babies - big and small are doing wonderful! The littles wandered out of their nest box today! When I was cleaning everyone's hutches and runs I thought I'd try putting both litters together. I wasn't sure what to expect, ready to move them immediately if the olders picked...

    Sticky & deformed baby poop

So they're on IFA premium forage alfalfa pellets, 16% protein. I know Dot (the one pictured) will leave the hay when he hears the pellets get poured in their bowl. So I'll definitely lower that and no more greens. I just feel bad they see everyone else get their salads 😅 Thanks for the help!

    Sticky & deformed baby poop

Hey friends, I'm struggling with my 6 week old kits' poop. 2 of the 3 keep getting kinda wet stinky poop stuck to their bellies. They were weaned from mama about 2 weeks ago and had poopy butt for a day, but I used some cornstarch and my hair buster to clean them off and it didn't come back. Now...

    Determining gender

Ok I got better pictures, I'm pretty positive I actually see 2 bucks and 1 doe. Yes?

    Determining gender

Hello! I posted this question on a thread of mine that's a little older but since it's a new topic my husband suggested I start a new thread, hope that's OK. I just wanted another opinion on the gender of these babies. They go to their new homes in 2 weeks 😭 And the new owners are naturally...

    Brand New Kits

Yeah Definitely no iceberg, just some green leaf lettuce, parsley and cilantro here. I actually did cut back quite a bit because I noticed some inconsistent poops, so mostly just hay and pellets for these guys. When should I reduce pellets? Right now they basically have unlimited access

    Brand New Kits

Can anyone help me determine gender in the older babies? I think I see 2 girls and 1 boy? This is Bugs This is Fluff And Dot

    Brand New Kits

Babies are almost a week old now, they're doing great! I'm surprised to find one of them has broken white and light brown coloring, that's very different than the other litter! Both litters are thriving. Very proud of mama for handling this so well. She made a great nest both times and cares for...

    Potty Training

@JBun thank you! Sorry I did miss you previous post on hay. I also like the crunchy stalk pieces and the thick tops. I did notice more of those as I dug into the bale - and all my bunnies seem to like it so 🤷‍♀️ Haha all is well!
