Dwarf Lop ears no longer lopped?

His actual crown is actually too small/narrow. A good way that I was taught to find a good shaped head is to picture a triangle going between the eyes with the point on the nose. You ideally want all sides to be equal where as your rabbits eyes are closer together vs the length from eye to nose...

    Is my rabbit pregnant?

Did you do any research on your rabbits and breeding Netherlands dwarfs? Dwarfs are notoriously horrible mothers. Did you check each rabbit for teeth issues or know of any teeth issues that their relatives may have had? She may or may not be pregnant right now it's too early to tell. We are...

Is my bunny a Dwarf Blanc de Hetot?

I say dwarf hotot as well.

I think my rabbit is pregnant what do you think?

I would probably go ahead and give her a nest box. It sounds like she is trying to make a nest I'm not confident with palpating but I just know we do it on day 14 and you should be able to feel large grape sized balls in the lower part of the abdomen.

New to rabbits -- Pet Store animal

Other people will most likely elaborate but look into rabbit NIC cages (just google it) and you should find tons of options for housing. I used those attached to a metal dog crate that I had for my French lop. Don't use cat litter inside his litter box it is toxic. Look into wooden pellets. We...

    Satin Angora?

No angora. She is most definitely a lionhead. They definitely need brushing to get undercoat out. Using a soft slicker pin brush or comb will be fine. Idk about clipping the coat but do know they molt just like other rabbits so they shouldn't need haircuts.

What Will the Babies Look Like

Do you know what color your rabbits are? The buck looks broken chin and the doe looks like a sable chinchilla maybe? If so you will probably get agouti babies and some might be Sable Chins as well

    Bad breeder???

Did you also notice if your doe was lifting? If a buck doesn't finish his job quick for me it's usually because the Doe is not responding correctly

    Accidental litter! Need advice!

If your babies are inside then they will be fine with whatever temp you keep your house at. The babies will regulate their own temp. If they get cold they will stay together if they get hot they will spread out. Keeping them secure in the nest box is the best thing. We had brittannia petite...

    Bunny Has Swollen Nipples!?

Be on the lookout for mastitis. I haven't ever watched our does teats after weaning so I'm not sure if they get swollen or not after we take away babies.

    Holland Lop Breeding Help??

    New to the Forum

Are you sure they are Flemish? They don't normally come in a pointed variety. The only white Flemish I know of are pure white with red eyes which is albino. I hope someone didn't sell you Californians instead. If they did the personalities aren't much different and cals still get a decent size...

    Mama Rabbit pulling fur.

People have weaned baby bunnies successfully at 4 weeks of age in emergencies so if she does have something you can wean them early and take them away from mom. If you don't want to it won't be good for the doe but you could just put the nest box in to let the mom feed the newborns or vice...

    intro and questions

Sounds like you have quite a bunny problem on your hands with so many litters being born... I'm not sure about the hermaphrodite issue And I agree with azerane that the mothers will feed others babies just fine. When we have issues we have been able to foster babies onto another mom easily.

    What breed is my bunny?

He looks like a Holland lop. Harlequin is his color

    Mama Rabbit pulling fur.

If you are absolutely sure she hasn't been bred by your intact male then it could be a false pregnancy If she does have another litter then they had to have bred. My suggestion would be to then get your buck neutered asap and/or move him far away from your female. If she continues having...

    New bunny has strange eye

Sitting and waiting when it's an eye problem is not a good thing to do at all unless you want to spend hundreds on an enucleation to remove the eye. Eye problems can turn from bad to worse in a matter of hours. He really needs to be seen

    Questions about my neutered bun???

The vet should have made sure he was eating before he left the clinic. He needs to continue eating even if it's only a little or he will need to be force fed. I always took pellets and hay to my clinic for bunny surgeries so the vet could offer food as soon as the bunny woke up
