    Litter tray accident!

My other two sleep in their litter tray 🤣 these two apparently like to flip it, although I say two pretty sure I know the culprit, Narla (the black one) she is a terror for moving the tray knew it was only a matter of time before she managed to flip it!

    Litter tray accident!

Thought most bunny parents would appreciate this, just when you think this rabbit parenting is going well you come home to a completely flipped over litter box 🙈 Partner tried to scrap it back together on his lunch break but gave up 😂

    Hides house recommendations please

Oh goodness I didn’t know that either, I guess I have very well behaved buns as they haven’t broken out (yet)! The cage came with zip ties as well as the connectors but I went with the connectors to put it together. I still have the zip ties so can reinforce the structure in case. Luckily if...

    Hides house recommendations please

Yes I’d ideally like something with a solid base so they aren’t on the floor, and I was worried cupboard wouldn’t be insulating enough for cold nights (they are great otherwise). I tried adding a towel under the box but they just end up moving it around and it gets screwed up. I didn’t realise...

    Hides house recommendations please

yes no problem, this is the space I have to work with. The little house would most likely replace the pink carrier in the back corner as they don’t really use that for anything It’s a little small for them to get comfy in.

    Hides house recommendations please

Thank you for the suggestion I’m not really looking for a cage or full hutch as they live in my garage and don’t want something that will take up their floor space too much. I had this one before but is too small for them both to use at the same time and I don’t think they were keen on the ramp...

    Hides house recommendations please

That’s very cool, I don’t have the best eye for DIY but maybe I can convince the other half to have a go 🤣

    Bunny Boarding Anxiety!

This would be my first choice but at the moment I don’t have any Rabbit savvy friends/family close enough and I’m a little weary off employing someone who has to come in the house while we are away. I think boarding is the only option I’ve got sadly.

    Hides house recommendations please

Thanks I hadn’t thought of considering dog/cat houses this will hopefully give me the size I need. I found some of the ones sold for rabbits come up a little small especially for two. I had one that never got used but I think it was too cramped and they didn’t feel comfortable.

    Bunny Boarding Anxiety!

Hi everyone, So my partner has finally mentioned the words I have been dreading all year ‘going away somewhere’ (thanks to COVID I have got away with it for longer than expected)! Anyway, I’m so worried about having to leave my rabbits behind and need to find them suitable boarding. Does...

    Hides house recommendations please

Hello Now the winter months are approaching I want to find a large sturdy hidey house for my two rabbits who live in our garage. It needs to be big enough for them to both fit in at the same time and I’m struggling to find anything big enough. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions :)...

    Nipping Bonded Rabbit Before Feeding

Two of mine do this as well so I’m glad I’m not alone 🙈 They have been together a year now but I still get chasing and nipping at feeding time. I tried two bowls but that didn’t make a difference as once food is down they are totally fine to eat from the same bowl and side by side etc it’s just...

Rabbit peeing and seeming in pain!

Glad to hear he seems better. Just one abnormal poop is not too much of a concern. I have occasionally seen the odd one could even be just an uneaten caecotroph, they are softer and sometimes look mushy if stepped on. Just keep checking all his droppings make sure it doesn’t keep happening :)

Rabbit peeing and seeming in pain!

You should contact your vet ASAP, bunnies showing signs of illness can deteriorate very fast especially if he is refusing to eat because of pain, he will eventually suffer with GI stasis which can be fatal within 48 hours. Wishing your little guy a speedy recovery.

    Litter training

In that case you are most likely seeing hormonal terrortial behaviour due to her age. Female rabbits tend to mature around 5-6 months. You could wait it out for a few weeks to see if she calms down with it or spaying could be the other option and has many other benefits as well. I have attached...

    Litter training

Does she always pee in the same spot? If so try putting another litter box over the spot she has chosen. During training it is good to have a couple of litter box options while they get the hang of it. Also is she spayed yet? If not and adding a litter box doesn’t help spaying can make a big...

Neutering Rabbits? Is it advisable? :)

Make sure you take your rabbits together to the vet that is very important. When they come home watch them very very closely, as long the other rabbit doesn’t upset your newly spayed rabbit with any disruptive behaviour like mounting then they should be fine to stay together. If he/she starts...

    Bunny spay and neuter concerns

As long as you make sure your vet is experienced with rabbits you should be absolutely fine. I’ve had a guinea pig and even a rat successfully operated on in the past and the most likely thing to go wrong is an inexperienced vet over dosing on anaesthetic drugs as they used to larger animals...

    IS MY BUNNY DYING!?

    IS MY BUNNY DYING!?

It could possibly be gas. How old is your rabbit and do you know when she last ate and was behaving normally? You could try doing belly message this has resolved gas trouble for me 3/4 times. The one time it didn’t the gas happened overnight so I wasn’t able to do the belly message like I...
