How much hay in Small Pet Select boxes?

I don't know if SPS will solve that problem if you're that sensitive. I also am allergic to Timothy hay (makes me sneeze and makes my nose run) and decided to try the 2nd cut which SPS carries to see if that would be better, but for me it hasn't made a difference. I'm probably going to give...

How much hay in Small Pet Select boxes?

Yeah I have to correct my previous number I think I go through more like 5lb in a month as well. That’s refilling it twice a day and a lot of it ends up in the trash lol.

Bunster is I think about 12 weeks as well and also a Holland Lop! I noticed overnight he suddenly was interested in biting cardboard where he was previously not interested at all.

My 1 month old Netherland Dwarf escaped!!

I had a rabbit when I was a kid who lived in our garden permanently.. because once I let him out I couldn't get him back into his cage and gave up. Anyhow, he loved to dig and dug holes under our fence and would escape and eat the flowers of our neighbors, who were very upset with me and once I...

    Water bottle or bowl?

Bunster's using the bottle now as well as the bowl lolllll cause I moved the bottle so it's right above his litter box area and his water bowl is on the other side of the pen away from his hay. I was so surprised to see him using the bottle it does look quite unnatural!

Getting a rabbit used to being handled

He still comes to me to nudge me for food and scratch and bite at my jeans, but I noticed he's not as comfortable whereas with my husband he'll jump on his lap. Haven't neutered him yet.

Getting a rabbit used to being handled

It's so hard to even pick up Bunster cause he runs away, and the last thing I want to do is chase him around cause he's obviously faster than me. I've kind of given up a little... Did your Spotty kick in the beginning? He's not interested in pets anymore either .. he used to be when he was...

    Bunster's area smells.

We have Bunster in our den, which is probably the worst place in terms of air circulation, it tends to also be the place where food smells congregate. And now it smells like Bunbun's .. litter and food. The pellets seem to have a fishy smell. The litter smells like poop and pee. Anyone have...

How much hay in Small Pet Select boxes?

Small Pet Select website has the lbs on there so you should be able to compare easily? I just got one that is 20lbs .. the box is about the size of a cooler but the hay is packed quite densely O_O. I was afraid to open the box cause I knew it was going to spill over onto my carpet. *sigh*...

    Citronella Oil?

Anyone know if citronella oil safe to use around a bunny's housing area or on surfaces that a bunny might touch? I saw some old threads on this but I'm reading mixed things, wonder if anyone has a definitive answer. Just bought a bug spray and that is the main ingredient.

    Water bottle or bowl?

Hey Blue Eyes, I haven't seen those. I'd probably have to rinse it out every once in awhile though right? Sometimes there is no hay in Bunster's water bowl but it still seems.. dirty... probably from Bunster's face lol. Wonder how easy the clamping mechanism is.

Just got a new bunny! Super nervous...

Also bunster plants the cecotropes on the opposite end of the pen and they are always on the floor, not in the litter box. Does anyone know why?

    Water bottle or bowl?

Getting a rabbit used to being handled

Anybody else on this issue? Pretty sure Bunster's hormones are kicking in because all of a sudden he digs and chews a looooot more than he did before. Also he won't sit still for any petting not to mention picking up. We spend time with him every day .. he has access to the x-pen area...
