    Litter Box Training Baby Bunnies

How long have you been doing it? It took me two weeks with Bunster. Also are you cleaning up the wire after you clean up accidents? I imagine it would be hard to tell if they're on wire where they've actually peed and that sounds like it would be a problem in training because they go where...

    Any appropriate veggies ?

Hi BlueEyes, Bunster looooves parsley so I'm curious, why is parsley on the occasional list?

    Alfalfa Pellets

Bunster is about 6 months old now. Do I have to switch her from alfalfa to timothy pellets? Unfortunately I bought a huge bag of alfalfa pellets and I'd like to keep using them if it's okay. I think Bunster is starting to get a bit overweight though, so I will at least decrease the amount of...

    Flooring for Non-Litter Trained Bunny

My Bun took just about two weeks to litter box train when I first got her. Every morning I would check for any accidents, clean them up with vinegar/water solution and stick her pee in the box. Then when I would come back from work I would do the same. We think she was about 6-8 weeks old...

    Bunster thumping

Hi there, in an effort to figure out what was wrong.. closed all the windows (there were dogs barking outside.. but again this usually doesn't bother her..) and I mixed in some banana with cc cause i got scared of possible stasis cause she was refusing pellets earlier ... She ate the banana...

    Bunster thumping

Something's wrong.. Bunster neve rthumps but last night I was woken up to her thumping. I saw the light in the living room was on so I turned it off. It seemed to stop the thumping. But this morning I saw her in her pen and she didn't come out to greet me which was strange. Instead she...

    Picky rabbits

so I take it back, it could be hormones but all of a sudden Bunster is very interested in chewing. The phonebook I left for her sat untouched for months, but now there are phonebook scraps everywhere! So there you have it. I also cannot seem to clip any of her nails without her very much...

    Rabbit is chewing my carpet

we keep Bunster in an x-pen and the bottom is just a tarp plus a spare flat sheet layered on top, so she can't get to any carpet.

Bunny is digging and litter in flying!

Bunster has started zooming around her litter box but thankfully the wood pellets are heavy enough that not much flies. I second trying that if you still find you have problems.

Just got a new bunny! Super nervous...

so Bunster had his/her first legit accident since being potty trained... about 4-5 months old now. Aghhh was hoping we'd get through this period without that. Luckily it was in her cage area and not the carpet, but does this mean we need to do re-training??? It was RIGHT next to the litter...

Just got a new bunny! Super nervous...

so I ended up storing my hay in the den where Bun is. Looks ugly, but oh well, he's taken over the room anyway. Lacy how are your buns doing? Bunster should be around 4-5 months old now. We're noticing no testicles dropping so he might be a she. Also it seems that his personality is...

Best hay recommendation for this particular moment in US ?

My Bun isn't a big hay eater either and I can't figure it out. T_T good luck. I've tried orchard grass and timothy hay and to see if he preferred one over the other maybe.. but no clear conclusion. I use SPS second cut right now and although the hay itself smells nice, Bunster doesn't seem...
