    Hiw to clean rabbits ears

Excess ear wax is not normal. It could indicate she has ear mites or some sort of infection. Best to take her to a vet to be safe.

    Bunny Won’t Leave her Cage

What time of day do you open the cage for her? Rabbits are crepuscular, which means they are most active at dawn and dusk. This means most rabbits sleep during a lot of the day, and only really come out to explore first thing in the morning and again in the evening. What room is the cage in?

    breeding buck issues

Yes you’re right, it stays fairly cheap when you only have two babies, and when everything goes smoothly. But in the event that things go wrong and you need a vet, or you have a litter of 9 babies, thins start to get pricier. Just warning you, because it’s not uncommon that we have people on...

    Neutered Rabbit Humping

Are we still talking about rabbits here! ;):p But yeah, sometimes if they have already learned the behaviour of humping before the surgery, they can still carry on doing it even once the hormonal drive has dissipated.

    breeding buck issues

Agree with poopy poo, please bear in mind you are likely to be out of pocket - you will end up spending far more on food, vet bills, and enclosures for all your bunnies than you will make from selling mixed breed pet bunnies.

    Please help

Ouch don’t use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol on an open wound! Stingy. It also hinders wound healing as it kills healthy cells. The powders to stop bleeding will be fine. Keep them on a clean surface afterwards and there shouldn’t be any risk of infection anyway.

How many people feel rabbits are high maintenance?

I agree, I just meant they are high maintenance compared to other small furries, and certainly more high maintenance than first time bunny owners often assume.

How many people feel rabbits are high maintenance?

Definitely. If you look after a rabbit properly and provide everything they need then it is a lot of work!

Do Bunnies need to go Outside

She can stay inside all the time as long as she gets sunlight through windows etc. If she does go outside it would be best for her to have to option of coming back in herself, or at least bring her some home comforts (litter tray, hide etc) to make her feel less scared.

Can rabbits get flea from outside

Speak for yourself, my rabbit eats everything, when we had a dog that never stopped her haha. I agree chemicals are unlikely but worth being aware of. My biggest concern would be the rabbit being threatened by a big open space and lots of dogs and loud noises. I wouldn’t do it, even with my...

Can rabbits get flea from outside

Yes he can get fleas but they rarely live on rabbits, but he can definitely get a tick. You can use a spot on treatment like we do for dogs and cats but I would just check him over completely once you get home. My main concern though would be that it’s quite scary being in an open space having...
