    Does yours do this?

Young Willa did that sort of shenanigans all the time... This was her first few days with my sister before I "stole" her to come to live with me... she was a lounger, but not a very coordinated one.

    Binkies..

I think our bunnies are cut from the same cloth... Willa in particular loves stealing trash and pieces of paper (particularly bookmarks out of closed books) then running and binkying like a crazy rabbit. Once I got Fox, she taught him this awful game as well, so now I have to retrieve items from...

Help! I found a big scab near both my bunnies mouths and the scab came off too early

While the scab getting wet may not be helping, it certainly isn't the root of the problem. Just hang in there and get them to a responsible, rabbit-savvy vet as soon as you safely can. If this has been a chronic problem it's unlikely that a few days will make things too much worse, however...

Help! I found a big scab near both my bunnies mouths and the scab came off too early

No, you probably don't need to worry about flystrike, but I don't think that gnats are the cause of the scab and other issues. Something else is still going on and I think you still definitely need to see a vet, especially because this a recurring problem the bunnies have had.

Help! I found a big scab near both my bunnies mouths and the scab came off too early

That place looks fantastic! Maybe I'll take Willa and Fox there when I move back to the PNW! I hope you get an appointment quickly

Help! I found a big scab near both my bunnies mouths and the scab came off too early

For the immediate moment, I would wait until you can travel to a vet. Home remedies could have counter-indications (mix badly) with what you will be prescribed by a vet to treat the issue. Since both rabbits have symptoms, we can estimate that it's some kind of infection that is contagious, but...

Need help . Rabbit watery eyes

I can't say much without seeing a picture. It would be great if you could post one so the admins can see what is going, but I would find a different vet. There is almost certainly some kind of irritation occurring and a good vet should prescribe something to either reduce the irritation or clear...

    Struggling With Flooring

A lot of fabric stores have rolls of the stuff you can get and back any rug you want super cheap! I personally have always bought large patio rugs, which are moisture-wicking and often rubber backed... the best deal I found was in the winter months at Lowe's... 9'x8'6" rug for 35 USD! Good luck!

Get to know each other game!

I love it! I'm majoring in Archaeology and minoring in Biology, so my days are all science, all the time! TPBM enjoys writing for fun

He's consistent, but not in the litter

Pine pellets are really good, you can get them at most feed stores. It's what I use. I personally also like the shredded bedding like Yesterday's News (I think small pet select does too). It's not quite as odor absorbent, but your rabbit may prefer the texture and it does a good job. I sometimes...

    Does yours do this?

Long live the queen of bizarre sleeping positions! I love it when she does her goofy flops, although sometimes it's hard to get a pic, keep trying!

    Bonding and spaying issues

I am usually one to shout out the benefits of spaying from the rooftops and recommend it highly, however, in your case I think it is likely not worth the risk to pursue with this bunny. I think your vet made a really good call and I really respect him for making that call. While, yes there is an...

He's consistent, but not in the litter

I wouldn't expect a whole lot from a nine-week-old baby bunny as far as litter box habits. We don't so much litter train rabbits as hack their natural patterns, territorialism, and desire to be neat. A baby rabbit probably hasn't developed those traits as they are linked to maturity. Chances...

would a bonded pair of rabbits get along with a guinea pig?

I generally try to prevent species mixing besides between a few trusted individuals. I've had cats that get on great with bunnies and vice versa, I've also had cats that wanted to hurt bunnies and bunnies that wanted to hurt cats. Any unnecessary introductions is a generally needless risk...

    Let me see your rabbits!

I love Watership Down as well! What a beautiful, clever looking rabbit! I have Willa, a three-year-old Satin/Holland Lop cross who is a broken agouti. She's got quite an attitude and is a total love bug who will tell you exactly what she wants! Foxwell is a sweet, shy, handsome boy who is...

would a bonded pair of rabbits get along with a guinea pig?

If your sister is to get a guinea pig, keep it separate from your rabbits always. The rabbits would likely harm the guinea pig unintentionally or intentionally. They are probably quite a bit bigger than the guinea pig and could hurt it just trying to be friendly or if they see the guinea pig as...

Get to know each other game!

All the way! I've never actually had a small breed, despite a few attempts, all the bunnies I've had that were supposed to be small breeds when they grew up all turned into 7+ lbs rabbits at a reasonably healthy weight. A running joke between my sister and me is that any pet we own turns into a...

I'm new to the bunny parenting world

Welcome to the community! He is a cute little dude! I love the forehead spot! I almost named my boy Foxwell after the rabbit diety in Watership Down, Inle. They behave like little deities, so it's a very fitting name!

    New bunny mom

If you've only had her for two hours just let her be. The fact that she has even nibbled anything in her first two hours at her new home is great! She just needs to get acclimated. I'd leave her face alone and let her clean it herself if she wants to and not had the stress of grooming to what is...

    New bunny mom

She looks very young, but it's hard to tell from a photo. How long have had her? Walking instead of hopping could be a sign of injury, however, a lot of rabbits walk when figuring out a new environment, so it could just be that she's nervous. Since she's new to you and young, you should try to...
