    Outdoor rabbit breed

What kind of outdoor setup will you have? As a fellow dweller of the brutally cold north, you're gonna need some pretty impressive shelter... It gets down to -40 F some winters, colder with wind chill. There were two solid weeks this year where the temperature didn't crest 0 F, and I know...

Help my rabbit ate my pants.

What a cute little rascal! I hope everything turns out just fine, It's very obvious he's a loved little dude!

Help my rabbit ate my pants.

When I first got my one bunny, Foxwell, I didn't know he knew how to jump into my laundry basket and he did a number on a pair of jeans, a vest, and a t-shirt, but he swallowed such small pieces that blockage did not occur. Just keep an eye out for poops and keep him unstressed... stressed...

Help my rabbit ate my pants.

How long ago did this happen? While rabbits sort of are little poop machines, not pooping for an hour or two is not cause for alarm, although not pooping for 24 hours is considered an emergency. Keep pushing hay and water. Even if he did ingest the fabric, it was likely in small pieces that he...

Help my rabbit ate my pants.

Did you find any shred of fabric on the ground? Most often when they eat such things they are really just shredding them.

I need suggestions on how to bond my two male Rabbits

Two males can be tricky... Are they both neutered and did the procedure happen 60-90 days ago or more? Has one been living with you longer than the other and already has a determined "territory"? What have your bonding attempts been so far? There are a lot of factors that go into bonding to...

Help what kind of bunny do I have?

Skip the greens for now (she's young and her stomach is very sensitive), although a little is okay since that's what she's been being fed. Making sure she has unlimited hay is absolutely critical for her health. Definitely get her a litter box and check out the indoor housing thread for ideas on...

Help what kind of bunny do I have?

Puppy pads can be risky as the bunny is likely to chew on them. She's going to get a lot bigger than she is now... My best guess for her age is between 5 and 7 weeks, maybe younger. Do you have hay and know what she was being fed? It is definitely possible to litter train, although that activity...

Help what kind of bunny do I have?

Man, she looks really young... Where did you get her from and how old is she? I'm not a breed expert, but I am curious what your set up is, which will really be the best way for us to discuss the best care for her.

    Dating when you have rabbits

I dated and had rabbits... I'm 22 as well. The relationship was 2 1/2 years long and very bad in many, many ways, but I have to say he always treated my rabbits with kindness. I had Neal when we started dating, who died following a seizure not long into the relationship and got Willa and Foxwell...

    bunny only wants hay?

What ended up being the diagnosis and treatment? I haven't actually heard of a rabbit skipping romaine lettuce for hay, so that's a bit new for me and what I know. On the one hand, eating hay is always good, but skipping sources of water when they are already dehydrated isn't ideal... Rabbits...

    Sick bunny?

While it's really hard to guess what is going on without a lot of information, the problem does sound dietary, even if he is experiencing arthritis that could impede his ability to arch his back. Hay is an extremely important part of a rabbit's diet, so finding a way in which he will eat it is...

Too much room for my rabbits?

It took Willa over a month before she chose to sit beside me and have her back petted during our reading time without leaving after a few strokes. She is still not the most cuddly bunny, which is ok. I love how hard she was to win over and how hard it was to win her trust. It makes our...

    Rabbit Cage

I did the same as @Freedom, large dog crate that for the first week-ish I had Willa she was in except when supervised to make litter training easier and teach her that that is her safe place and then about two weeks in just leaving the door open always. I try to avoid petting her or bothering...

Where did you adopt your rabbit from?

That's one of the most delightful stories I've heard, they look SO happy and they sound like amazing citizens!

Where did you adopt your rabbit from?

When I got Willa I had previously decided that I was not interested in getting another rabbit following the death of my beloved old man rabbit Neal. I was NOT looking for a rabbit at all, but my sister was and asked if I would be her co-bunny parent if she found one and I agreed, albeit without...

Get to know each other game!

I do, although I haven't been in the mood or had the time to consume very many and I don't always love watching movies alone... It's more fun to have someone to discuss with, especially independent movies that tend to have a lot to discuss. TPBM has seen the movie The Plague Dogs (It's...

could bubbles and brownie be show rabbits?

I totally agree! I have altered rabbits too and they also generally have household citizenship as well. While I still don't know much about showing, I can say with certainty that Bubbles and Brownie are super cute. I love their little lop ears. :)

could bubbles and brownie be show rabbits?

While I can't say much in regards to conformation or coloring, one thing that I do know is that spayed/neutered rabbits cannot participate in ARBA shows. Being altered is a disqualification. Are they neutered?
