    What breed is my Bunny?i

Not mini Rex either. Maybe a mix of it. Fur is too long and not the right type for a mini Rex. Do you have any recent photos they change so much in the first 6 months. Glad to know that he is free roam!

I actually know someone who uses this and she loves it!

    Thinking About Getting A Rabbit

The bedding is a great choice. That hay is perfectly fine. Anything that is good for horses is good for rabbits.

Need help with my rabbit's diet

Is he still eating hay well or just average? What type of pellets are you feeding him?

    Thinking About Getting A Rabbit

Try your local farmers! I buy mine by the bale for $5 but prices vary around the country.

Maybe you missed it but I did say that they couldn't. I was saying that a male can still get an unspayed female pregnant up to 6-8 weeks after a neuter.

How much pellets is he getting each day now?

    Hay Feeder Alternative

I can fit about half a bale in one of those tubs you have pictured. And actually, if you buy multiple bales the prices are even cheaper like $3 a bale but they usually have a minimum requirement of buying like 20 bales or more. Our bales are about 50 pounds on average. Ours don't seem to be as...

You have to keep males away from females for 6-8 weeks because they can still get her pregnant. The hormones have to do when you are bonding to a spayed female. If the female is spayed you can start bonding as soon as the hormones die down. With females, they can't get pregnant after a spay but...

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Around here vets will neuter boys as soon as the testicles descend. With females, it depends on the vet when they will do it. Usually, as early as 4 months to 6 months.

What type of litter does everyone use?

@Niomi I know there is but they are few and far between to find. I have never actually found any. I'm not sure how much the kiln-pine shavings are but I think the pellets are really cheap.

    What breed is my Bunny?i

Not Netherland dwarf. Just some tips on your set up. Just put the litter in the litter box, not on the floor, this confuses them on where to go while you keep him just in that cage. With him only being 2 months old he will soon outgrow that cage. If you can get an xpen then that will be much...

What type of litter does everyone use?

Pine pellets are ok just not pine shavings. Pine pellets are kiln dried which makes it safe. I agree with going with a big bag from your local farm store. I buy mine at Rural King for $6. Its a lot cheaper.

    Hay Feeder Alternative

@Blue eyes I just looked at your hay page and you said that 1 bale lasts 2 rabbits about a year. I don't know if you all's bales down there are bigger or I knew Tris ate a LOT of hay but I thought that was just average amount because Gus eats it just nowhere near as much as Tris. Gus eats about...

I would get it checked out by a vet.

    Hay and Treats

I typically buy my hay by the bale from a local farmer cheaper to buy by the bale if you have the room. Treats I usually just give any rabbit safe fruit I have laying around but no more than 1-2 tablespoons per day. So that's one slice of apple or a one-inch slice of banana, not both. Raisins...

Are rabbits with blue eyes more susceptible to vision problems?

I have never heard of ones with blue eyes. I have only heard that about red-eyed bunnies.
