Not sure if this works for bunnies with longer fur (I have a rex bun) but plucking with my fingers always works. The only time I pick my bun up is if I need to cut his nails, put him in his carrier or be a selfish bunny hooman and put him on my bed to watch tv. Also; loving the ironic name haha

They should be fine. Just dip the nails that are bleeding into a bit of flour (any kind will work). A tip for next time is to press on the nail before you cut. If they flinch or try to pull their foot back, you're too far. It took me a while to get there but I can finally clip my rabbits nails 😅
