Help, not sure what to do -- messy bottom

Hmm, ok well litterbox doesn't seem to be the issue then and I'd suggest cleaning it up a little. I hear using baby cornstarch is helpful in getting stuck mushy poop off their butts works, by working small fingertip amounts into the fur and see if that helps any. You may have to give your bun...

Help, not sure what to do -- messy bottom

What type of potty area does your bun have? How often do you change the potty?

    Neutering to help with poop????

My fixed lionhead is approx 5-6 years old and he STILL leaves territorial poops, every single night around his and his wife's litterbox as well as all around my coffee table and in the corner under it where they sleep. I feel there is either another bunny nearby or he just isn't willing to stop...

    Firework anxiety

Hi I know I'm "late to the party" but here's my thought..I'd get a box and cut a couple of holes for him to hope in and out of but otherwise all closed up and put it in a corner. Put one of his favourite blankets or something of yours even, that you don't mind giving to him for comfort and he...

    Never has my *bunny* ever

(sorry I don't know how to remove this one) So my question to next poster again, is: Never ever has my bunny gone outside?

    Never has my *bunny* ever

This is my 4-6 year old, SmurphyMurphy CooperTrooper Pooper and never ever has he given me a kiss 😔 Come to think about it, neither has his younger lop wife, unless she is getting the residual smells/tastes of treat (fruit) off my fingers 🤣😔🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Never ever has my bunny gone outside?

My new bunnys teeth look weird

No, definitely not normal. In my experience, if bunny's teeth can't be seen when you look at them, they most likely have good teeth and get enough to chew in order to naturally file the continuously growing teeth.. and keep in mind they actually have 28 teeth in those sweet little faces! So...

White heavy fluid in litter box overnight. Need help!

@chofamily this may help. I use it when I notice changes in my bunbun's urine.

What Color are my Holland lops?

@FirstTimeHollandOwner yes try putting hay over the pellets and put any stray poops into the box in one of the corners. Any pee accidents you dab up with toilet tissue and place in the box as well (this will help teach them to follow their scent to the box and where to go. For the mess left on...

What Color are my Holland lops?

@FirstTimeHollandOwner I'd recommend going through all the different threads and read up about owning buns. That's where you're going to get the most education and benifit from this website. Ask questions of course but definitely familiarize yourself with what it takes to own a bunny and give it...

Found pee outside the litter and in the rabbit tunnel

My girl who I've had for about 3 1/2 years now, has suddenly (every blue moon) began making a pee right where her and her husbun sleep (under my coffee table on the right side and next to the leg closest to me if I sleep on the couch). The thing is, her husbun leaves what I call "territorial...

Sleep tight pinkie. (Helps for her bonded rabbit)

Condolences to your heart and that of her widow 💞 I'd suggest for now, provide your widow with a stuffed bunny, preferably laying or well rounded as it sits. I did this for my widow after his lady passed, it seemed to help. Then after a year or so I provided him a new wife to love.

    Indoor set-up

The thing is, you don't know when their hormones kick in and when they do you may be to late to fix the issue 🤷‍♀️

Post Your Cute Bunny Bonding Moments Here

I bonded my double-mane lionhead, SmurphyMurphy CooperTrooper Pooper, to 2 ladies 🥰 He was the new bun the first time around and the bun of the house the second time around 💞

    Indoor set-up

I would. I'd also separate them till you get them fixed. A baby gate to put in a doorway or better yet ex-pens so you can put them where you want their spaces to be.

Death from old age at 11.5?

@Akibunny no worries. The hardest part of when they go, is that they take a piece of our hearts with them. I tend to believe it is so they can find us when it's our time to pass over. Keep strong, and be kind to yourself. It is beyond necessary 💞👍💪

are mesh litter boxes good for rabbits?

Gotcha.. My buns live free run in my home so I just have their litterbox set up like I mentioned earlier. My last girl had to be litterbox trained and that was the advice I was given, so I thought I'd pass it along. Good luck with your bun bun👍

are mesh litter boxes good for rabbits?

Have you considered an Ex Pen? That way you can make the bunny's area pretty much anywhere in your home and they are easy to work with. Then just get a litterbox and place into the corner, having a water bowl nearby. Any accidents dab up with a couple of squares of toilet tissue, and place it...
