    Sneezing

I suppose it could be the hay...we've been using the Oxbow hay, the largest one I saw at PetSmart. I just bought some other brand at Petco yesterday, I think it's Kaytee, but we haven't opened it yet. At first I thought it was something in my house, but someone at school noted the sneezing on...

    Sneezing

Our little gray girl, who came from school, has occasional fits of sneezing. I had the vet at school examine her, but she didn't find anything wrong. There's no nasal or eye discharge, her lungs sound normal, everything looks good. So should I be concerned, or just not worry about it?

    Vaccines

I tried looking--Google is my friend--and I think it was the ARBA website that said there are none approved for the US.

    Vaccines

Thanks much! I was worried! I want to do everything right by these two, and I know I have a huge learning curve to catch up to!

    Vaccines

As a vet tech student, I just finished the lab animal portion of my studies, and I just realized that at no point were vaccines for rabbits mentioned, nor did we do anything in class with the rabbits other than learn to *** them, restrain them, and draw a tiny bit of blood from them. Are there...

Did I make a major mistake?

So I just discovered!! The clinic quoted me $193 each, the local spay clinic quoted $65, and I had my huge Malamute neutered there about a year ago. His neuter was only $10 because I'm disabled, so I'm going to check and see what it is for a rabbit spay for the disabled. Even if it's the same...

Did I make a major mistake?

The plan is definitely to spay them both...I had actually requested that at school before adopting, but they won't do surgery on buns, just dogs and/or cats. I'm looking for a vet to do it now...

Did I make a major mistake?

I'm very new to owning bunnies, as in my first has only been ours full-time for a week. She's an unspayed female of unknown origin, the bunny in my profile pic. Today, I adopted another unspayed female, the one in my avatar. All I know about her is that she's three months old and likely to be a...

    Hello

Thanks! I'd always had an interest, but never the opportunity!

    Hello

I'm Stacy, new to both the forum and to owning rabbits. I've had dogs for years. Two of them are Arctic dogs (a malamute and a husky), the other two are a Lab mix and a Shepherd mix, and I have been leery of having rabbits in the same house, but I'm studying to be a vet tech, and during the lab...
