    Aggressive Rescue Bun

Thank you for saving that poor bunny! No peanut hay, that is a legume hay, they should get grass hay -timothy or orchard or meadow or... Ideally more than one variety. Don't clean the cage while she is in it. She probably doesn't have enough space in addition to all the other reasons for...

Help Me With My Future Buns!

Of course they need to be protected from predators, etc. but rabbits do not belong in cages. There is no cage that is remotely large enough. Chicken coops (like what you posted in the link) are also not suitable, not big enough, too exposed, not predator proof and a pain to clean. Please look at...

Help Me With My Future Buns!

Why two females? Especially as a beginner, you would be far better off with a neutered, bonded, male-female pair from a rescue centre. Here is what you need for an outdoor setup - no cages! Outdoor Housing | Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF)

    Baby Brothers & Neutering?

It's not just about money. There is the worry and stress of neutering, there is the worry and stress of bonding,... Plus, babies are much harder to look after (not litter trained, etc.) and more fragile. Plus, you won't know their personality until they are older. Sometimes people want a baby...

    Baby Brothers & Neutering?

I would never recommend baby bunnies, especially for beginners. You are much, much better off adopting a neutered, bonded pair from a rescue centre. Cheaper, much easier, much less stress.

    Bored rabbits - ideas?

That's sad they can't be together. Did you go to an RWAF vet (list below) for the neuter? If not, I would get a second opinion. For enrichment, have you tried digging boxes? Recommended Rabbit-Friendly Vets | Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF)

    Bucky’s Golden Years

Normally you drop off the bunny and you might give the rescue a list of potential mates you would like them to try. The rescue then introduces your bunny to a few of their bunnies and picks the most promising match. The bonding process takes at least a week. During that week you neutralise your...

    Bucky’s Golden Years

I am so glad you are going to adopt a friend for him! Can the rescue not do the bonding for you? It would be so much easier. Ideally, if they have several spayed bunnies, he should choose his mate himself.

    Difficult Bonding

Yes, to bond you have to wait.

    Difficult Bonding

Why don't you get some higher panels he can't jump? Or maybe keep one of them in the bathroom (if that's an OK size)? Alternatively, perhaps you could find a rescue centre near you who are willing to board her and perhaps even bond her with your boy eventually. Obviously you will need to pay. I...

    Difficult Bonding

You need to keep them separated until a couple of months after her spay. UK rabbit vets will spay from 16 weeks. Can you not divide your room in two? Don't keep trying to bond them now, it's very unlikely to work and very likely to lead to injuries.

    Bucky’s Golden Years

Don't be in a hurry to get him a girlfriend, needs at least 4 weeks for hormones to adjust. Can the rabbit rescue do the bonding for you?

    Smudge bottom :-/

I would feel bad too, we all love to spoil them. You could get several types of tasty, fresh grass hay.

    Smudge bottom :-/

Is some of the poop paste like? Sounds like it could be intermittent soft stool syndrome. If that is what it is, the remedy is tough love - a hay only diet, absolutely nothing else for at least a couple of weeks, until the droppings have been normal for a few days. (It takes a long time for gut...

Help getting to eat pellets again?!

Is your vet on the RWAF vet list? Recommended Rabbit-Friendly Vets | Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF) If not, definitely get a second opinion from a rabbit vet. It's quite normal for them to go off pellets when their gut has slowed down from stress or illness. For a bunny with a good...

    Happy bunny life

They should have access to a large (predator proof) space 24/7. Stress from being locked up can cause all sorts of problems. Check out the RWAF website, best advice on housing, diet, etc. Very important to have a good rabbit vet. Check out the list on the RWAF website. I would not separate them...

    Happy bunny life

Why are you putting them in the hutch? Can you not just leave the hutch door open so they have the whole shed? And change bedding etc. when they are out?

    Bunny Bonding Advice

Very cute video but you might want to attach something (cardboard, Perspex) to the bottom of the pen so limbs can't stick out. If bunny panics like that it could result in nasty injuries.
