Rabbits are clean? Not this one 😭

I would treat for EC and have her tested for it. If she is positive you will need to treat all your bunnies.

    Ralph

He is very cute! He is most likely a crossbreed. Yes, he will calm down after neutering and as he gets older. The treat in your pics is not at all healthy. I would remove that. Have a look at the RWAF website for great advice on housing, diet, rabbit vets, etc. https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/

    New to bunnies

Well done! He's a very lucky guy to have found you.

    New to bunnies

He's very cute! He does need to eat lots of hay so get a few types of grass hay and keep trying until he eats at least his body size in hay every day. Don't give him much other food, 1 tbsp pellets a day is plenty.

    Hello!

Great advice on everything you need to know on RWAF website below. Worst rookie mistake is to buy a baby bunny. Instead, adopt an already neutered bonded pair from a rescue. Much easier, cheaper and the right thing to do. https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/new-to-rabbits/

Red scabs along vein in ear

Check whether nails are too long and sharp, could just be self-inflicted.

    My rabbits are a state

I would never say you are ridiculous! I have lived with house rabbits for 25 years and I still find it very hard. They are really complicated and fragile. I know it is really tough to stick to a hay only diet but you have to think of the long term benefits. If you feel guilty about it (I did...

    My rabbits are a state

Vicious cycle, get fat, less inclined to exercise, get fatter,... They don't need more than 1 tbsp pellets a day. I would cut out pellets altogether for a good few weeks at least, until the poop is consistently normal. It takes weeks or months even for the gut to rebalance. You do need to make...

    Pellet information.

Wrong. On all counts. And no pellet should be free fed. Bunnies need to eat lots and lots of hay/grass and very little else.

    Pellet information.

It's perfectly fine to give alfalfa based pellets, the amount of alfalfa is very small. They should not get more than 1-2 tbsp pellets a day. What you should not do is give them alfalfa hay. Science Selective are good quality pellets.

    Getting male bun friend

He needs to be neutered first. Then wait 8 weeks and visit a rescue centre where they have spayed females.

    Weird poop stains?

Can you give details of his diet please? What exactly and quantities. It's possibly due to too many pellets and/or treats.

    Reddish eye

I would just wipe it with cooled boiled water and cotton wool. It could be a hay poke. If not better in a couple of days, I would go to the rabbit vet.

Update on Eugene, Milton and Cora!!

Keep them separated until she's recovered from her dental. Incidentally, always bring bonded rabbits to the vet together. They should never be separated. A good rabbit vet will always accommodate the patient's partner.

Large hard stomach, NO other symptoms

If anything needs to be done, why not a CT scan? If she is eating and pooping I would probably wait to see if the problem resolves itself, keep giving her wet greens so she is well hydrated and lots of grass hay. Surgery is very much a last resort. I had a bunny survive a gastrotomy years ago...

    Help with new baby bunny

So am I, Enfield, right next to the green belt. But we have a very good rabbit vet nearby in East Barnet. Where in London are you? There must be a rabbit vet you can get to. Yes, you need to get him neutered and then wait 8 weeks before attempting to bond.
