    Vaccination help needed

Im from England, UK. When I got my male vaccinated it said it was for Myxomatosis and R(V)HD / R(V)HD2. Both my rabbits are indoor freeroam.. I’m not sure if this affects the necessity of the vaccines (I’m sure it doesn’t) but either way I’d love to know if I should still get her jabbed even...

    Vaccination help needed

I have a doe who I adopted off of a family who didn’t really know how to care for her, I tried to ask for as much detail on her vaccines and whether she has had them or not but the family didn’t speak a lot of English… and were unable to give me proper detail. Therefore I’m not sure whether she...

He is having very wierd poos but he's acting sort of normal! Not the first time!

My bunny has had broccoli (little stalk and top) in his diet for over a year and he hasn’t had any complaints and is in great health, I think it can give them “painful gas” if you give it to them in large quantities, but as for mine they have a small amount with the rest of their veggies and...

    Love at first sight?

Aww that’s adorable. I decided to go with my gut and trust my bunnies and they were fine! They are still together and haven’t shown any negative signs. I have 2 mini lop crosses (not sure on the second breed) but they are very big bunnies haha and I was worried about leaving them over night...

Oh yes! My apologies I thought they were talking about treats made for rabbits! Rabbits certainly can not eat breads!

    New Rabbit-possibly pregnant

That’s great, it seems that you’re doing the best for her, the poor bunny seems to have had a tough life prior to being yours :( I’m sure she’ll open up once she’s calmed down and gets to know you! Over feeding is also a possible reason to her size haha! Either way I wish you and your bunny luck!

    New Rabbit-possibly pregnant

It is very likely that she could be pregnant. I understand you are a vet tech so I will assume you know some signs of pregnancy in rabbits; have you noticed any signs such as pulling her hair to use it in nesting? I don’t mean this is a disrespectful way towards you, but I would take her to a...

    Love at first sight?

I have a neutered male and spayed female who have “shared” my room in separate cages next to each other since late December therefore they are very awake of each others presence. I introduced them on Tuesday and in the beginning there was a bit of chasing and nipping but it only happened once or...

He is having very wierd poos but he's acting sort of normal! Not the first time!

I would also cut down on the treats! As much as we want to show our love by treating our bunnies, they are fatty and can make them sick from eating too much!

He is having very wierd poos but he's acting sort of normal! Not the first time!

Hi! There could be a number of reasons to why your bunny’s stool has changed colour/texture. Has he recently changed the pellets he eats or you have introduced new veggies to his diet as this can cause an upset stomach as they should be swapped gradually. Does he eat a lot of hay? He should be...

My bunny was the exact same, he completely tore my room apart; my furniture, wires, skirtingboard, his cage everything! Until I got him neutered, it really really helped!
