    Help with new baby bunny

I appreciate the comment, I have researched a whole deal of things when it comes down to the health and care of rabbits, I have been a rabbit owner for a good almost 4 years now.. of course I do not know everything, and everything that I am stuck on I ask my vet and come to get another opinion...

    Help with new baby bunny

I think it might be the case that be just hasn’t dropped yet, as he has essentially loose flaps of skin where they should be, but I will ask anyway, as they where saying it depends on his age and weight

    Help with new baby bunny

I’m on the very very edge of northwest, like leadings out of “London” if that makes sense, I don’t exactly live in a big town so to get to better vets I need to branch out further toward the central london area, which would mean I need to bus & train to get there which isn’t ideal, trust me...

    Help with new baby bunny

Noo, I’m on the outskirts of london, pretty much country side 😅 and I thought so!! They said “oh well have to weight him because 5 months is too young” and I tried to say that I literally got my other male done there in the exact same clinic at 5month old 2years ago. So it confused me, I’ve...

    Help with new baby bunny

Ah I see, well I’ll turn it down then when I go in for their vaccinations. And I don’t think so, it’s my local vet, I do not have much option unfortunately I don’t have many -exotic- or rabbit specific veterinary clinics near me and even if I did, I don’t drive and would rack up a lot more money...

    Help with new baby bunny

I was recommended by my vet to give my rabbits a flea/tick/worm prevention stuff (not necessarily treatment), I didn’t request this, it is part of the health plan that I have for my rabbits

    Help with new baby bunny

So just done a check, and I might have to ask my vet as I did have a look at some diagrams of what I’m suppose to be looking for, but as it goes, it looks like he has male genitalia but no visible testicles, which is “apparently” a common thing? Not entirely sure, didn’t see/feel any nipples...

    Help with new baby bunny

Thank you for the reply, he seems to be doing very well, he is running around (zoomies and binkies) eat & drinking, and both feces and urine are normal.. he has no white spots, he’s is tan with black markings, standing ears and similar face shape to my mini lops, but he is rather small, he is 5...

    Help with new baby bunny

She said he has had hay but she had thrown his pellets and veg away 3 to 4 days peor as she assumed he’d be gone the same day so he was eating the hay that was in his butch but no other food.. and yes, when I got him home, I gave him fresh hay and water and he had some food (nuggets and veg...

    Help with new baby bunny

Update: He is now in my care, not sure of his breed. I pleaded with the previous owner for more information and she made me aware he was on baby food and Is transitioning over to adult. So I am carrying that transition on although she had admitted to me that he hadn’t eaten in about 3 or 4 days...

    Help with new baby bunny

Hi everyone, I thought I’d ask for some advice as I have 2 adult rabbits and am soon to be adopting a surrendered 5 month baby bunny.. I am well aware of all bonding process etc etc, the only concern I have is what to feed him, which might sound strange but, should I give him alfalfa hay or...
