ALICE ATE A BAG OF GRAPES HELP

Plenty of hay and water is the best now. I let my rabbits out in the garden, and when the apples fall they gorge on them, never resulted in issues. A lot of fruit in one go isn't optimal, but since she got them as treat she is somewhat used to them, I would keep an eye on her intake and...

    Swollen toes

When my house rabbit had sore hocks I covered all floors he could get to with currugated fiberboard(cardboard?) and fenced off the asphalt parts in my garden, that did help after weeks, months.

rescue bun had litter july 5th

That isn't out of the normal, imo it's just light coloured kits that look pink. Doesn't look any different to what I'm used to..

Optimal UVA/UVB dosage/bulb/fixture for bunnies in indoor hutches during heat waves

Hm, I don't think direct sunlight has that much influence on tooth issues. Especially if it's only missing part time, like during heat waves. Here, farmers kept rabbits in closed sheds and rooms, some still do that, with little light at at all - my grandfathers shed didn't even have a window...

Getting a dog with free roam rabbits

Doesn't sound like prey drive to me, but kind of herding drive, overexitement or social quirks. I had three dogs here over the years, for days or weeks, and my approach was to not seperate the rabbits, but to make clear that this home has rabbits. The rabbits had places to get away, but...

Yes. Being active is always a good sign.

    Baby bunny 16 days old

Imo, at that age it would be best to not put them here and there, but arrange the nest so they can easily get in and out. And make sure there are no traps in their area like falls or narrow gaps where they can get stuck. Let them explore by their own, and let them return to the nest whenever...

Big round belly for baby bunnies

No problem. Save the clean fur, and replace all the hay. form a depression in the middle as new nest, put the fur around it. Maybe put mom out of sight when manipulating the nest, some are pretty protective and can become agitated. Also take a look at the kits butt, the fur there shouldn't...

My bunny has a white spot on his fur

A close-up would help to see if something is off, if possible with the fur parted. Does the skin there look normal, no reddening, dandruff, scabs, or whatever?

    Rabbit diet.

Yes, perfectly fine. It would be better to start a new thread with a specific question like that, instead of hiding it in an loosly related old thread people have to scroll through first before finding it :)

My rabbit has lost his tooth

First priority is to keep him eating. I would offer him damp, soft pellets, and maybe cut hay or forage into real small pieces, or give that fine broken leafs etc that gathers at the bottom of a hay bale. Syringe feeding critical care is the next option if he doesn't eat by himself. Damp...

    Timothy hay is too green

WHAT??? That actualy is a thing? Hay shipped half around the world, and dyed?? If it really is from china, it quite likely is full of pesticides, the dye only being the icing of the cake. Sorry, I missed the China part at my first reply. It's absolutly decadent and wasteful to ship HAY, the...

    Timothy hay is too green

Imo, if it's dry, the greener the better. Excessive light during drying destroys the colour, so when hay is green that's actually a good sign. Doesn't mean that brown hay is bad, but I guess the green stuff is more tasty.

Get to know each other game!

Nope, no, we don't have mountains that high here in Austria. But I love mountains, I spent 3 summers of my childhood, from 6 to 8, on high pasture in Carinthia, at appr. 1800m, in a cabin without electricity, running water or a road leading there, my grandparents were cow herders up there. If...

    Really tight and thin skin?

What do you feed? How are her eyes doing? Pictures are hard to see, um, actually not there? ;) I'm not sure how long cottontails nurse, but quite likely as long as domestics, at least 4 weeks, but normally longer. I just weaned a litter at 5 weeks after hand raising them since day 10, and...

    Getting male bun friend

Meanwhile, you can try to give him a plushie rabbit as a substitute, some rabbits actually do get comfort from it. Had I known what I got myself into I would have gone that way. About neutering before getting a spayed female (my little 8 month experience with an intact female as house bunny...

    Getting male bun friend

Imho, the chances of 2 males getting along are pretty slim. Somewhat better when both are neutered, preferably befor puberty hits (not a thing in the US seemingly). But intact, well, their hormones can really take over control when another rabbit gets involved, I was in similiar spot years ago...

    Shedding

My approach is that I let them pick what they eat, and how much. They forage themself during daytime anyway, so I couldn't control what they eat anyway. Rabbits are great in knowing what, and how much they can stomach, if given the chance to learn, or in another phrasing, when not stunting this...
