    Pellet problem!

We use Kaytee Timothy Complete--we had problems with loose stool with the alfalfa pellets, but, no problems after we switched. I would give all of them the same pellets and give real Alfalfa to the kits til they reach 6 months and then switch to regular hay--may take 2 or 3 days as they don't...

Cloudy urine, UTI or bladder/kidney stones?

Forgot--we have a reverse osmosis system, so no hard water or chemicals--we can use it directly into our aquariums too.

    Pellet problem!

With babies, we used Alfalfa til 6months and transitioned to regular hay. Alfalfa is higher in protein and calcium needed for growth, but not needed by older buns--the exception is for Large breed rabbits as they need it up to one year as their growth cycle is longer than the smaller breeds...

    Pellet problem!

We use Timothy Complete from Amazon--it has no Alfalfa by products and since going to it we have had no problems with loose movements that we had with other pellets--we also only give 2 tablespoons to each bunny and the get veggies and unlimited hay (orchard grass as we are allergic to Timothy...

Cloudy urine, UTI or bladder/kidney stones?

Calcium will leave a white area when it has dried--what I saw looked normal. I hate to mention it, but you may be seeing age related problems as he is at the extreme area of being an "Elder" bun. We wish you both good luck.

How to clean bunny diarrhoea from carpet?

We use a spray on cleaner--spray, brush the area with a stiff brush and wipe down with a wet rag and cover with a towel til dry. It works with our Danes and takes out blood also ( one has an open area at the end of his tail)--however, it may not work all that well with old stains and you'll...

Finn--Rest in Peace my little man.

Hello again my sweet little man, doesn't seem possible that you've been gone a decade now--still love and miss you a lot my little vacuum attacker--it was so darn funny choosing the vacuum as your personal nemesis.

    Hello All

Howdy--2 dogs 5 birds, 5 fish tanks too, and 3 rescued bunnies. Also have 5 Humming Bird feeders as they are gorgeous and fun to see coming in numerous times during the day.

    Bye bye, Chantal.

So sorry for your loss. Our 1st bunny passed at 6--she had stasis issues a few times too. Our oldest was a couple weeks short of 19. A couple of our sweet buns never made it past 3 and did not show a single sign of any problem--it just sometimes happens that way. We try to remember the good...

    Litter Training!!!

Using the box for pee is litter trained. Poop is scattered everywhere as it is a form of territory marking---very easy to clean up fortunately. We have only had 2 out of 60+ rescues that did all their business in their own litter pan--why I own a 35 gallon shop-vac.

    Baliey and ebony

Costs less for a male, but, females will develop cancer a a young age if not spayed--check with any rescue group in your area for help.

    Baliey and ebony

We were told 8 weeks is good--they are weened and eating regular food by that point--also you should separate males and females--they do breed like rabbits, after all!

    Bunny kit’s vet issues!

We did a well check when we first got a rescued bunny. Never have gotten any vaccinated nor has any Vet here or in CA said there was a need. Further, if your bunny is a house rabbit with no interaction with any area where the wild ones roam, there is no real need. Our grandson goes to Neal...
