    Mabel

Howdy--all of ours have been rescues, not always from shelters.

    Hello! (New Member)

Ours only get the run of the house. Plus it is too hot right now to take anyone out--100 today.

    Lümi crossed over.

I have so many post here at the bridge so I can keep my memories alive--in our mind and heart they are truly still with us. Lumi, you are so truly loved and missed, til next year little one.

Are there any water bottles that don't excessively leak?

We have a similar one--works great.

Are there any water bottles that don't excessively leak?

I have a one gallon automatic fill water system I got from Amazon--works great, no mess, but it is pretty large compared to a bowl by itself. Also use a larger crock--not as easy to move or tip.

I may have a new friend!

I've always thought some people are just "too narrow" when they dismiss a companion animal's emotional needs--all animals grieve and most do not like being alone when a companion passes. I had 2 goldfish for almost 4 years together--they were never alone. Spot passed last week and Goldy quit...

Going through a lot of litter

Well, I use Aspen from Walmart and I change their pan everyday--they pee quite a bit and that's the part that really smells--of course the pans they have are not that big--just enough room to lay in, although they do lay on a piece of carpet most of the time, but, their pan gets all their toilet...

    Goodbye Petey

Hiya Petey, doesn't seem like it's 6 years since I had to say goodbye. Still miss you and all your quirks. His nickname was "Peter Pan"--I'd open the door to his hutch and he'd stay in his litter pan where all the others would come right over to their door so I could let them down to the...

I'm sorry Hopsy Please Forgive Me.

It is just fine--I do wash my hands after or the get itchy, but my breathing is fine--Orchard Grass did the trick for me.

Every loss leaves a hole in our heart and life--what we are left with is "happy memories" of the best times we had with our companions. Over the years we have lost so many, all rescues from circumstances sometimes not bad, other times very dire. Our last 2 were both scheduled for euthanasia if...

I'm sorry Hopsy Please Forgive Me.

We switched from Timothy to Orchard Grass--no longer have to wear a breather mask to keep me safe from the dust--knew it was the Timothy as I have been dealing with allergies my whole life.

[RIP] Xiao Wu- trying to act normal but not okay

So sorry for your loss--we know how big the hole in your life is, but, what's helped us is the good memories and as long as we remember they are always with us

    Lost Courtney

so sorry for your loss. We have had a few of our rescues go for no reason we could discern, they were fine in the morning and gone that afternoon, and, not very old either. It sure leaves a gigantic hole in your heart and life. Rest in peace little girl and binky free at the Bridge, you are...

The joys of being a bunny parent

When our avatar, Nikki was a kit, she'd lay in her hay rack, again, on her back with all 4 legs sticking up--she was a sweet but very strange little bunny.
