We have had 2 out of 58 rescues that only used their pan in their own hutch--the rest like to mark their territory which by necessity we have a large shop vac.

Rabbits are amazing. We consider them potty trained if the urinate in the pan. We have 3, so they mark territory with their pellets, which is why I own a shop vac.

We put down a very tight nap carpet--sold here as indoor/outdoor. Linoleum is not a great flooring choice for bunnies. I also put my elder buns on a joint/arthritis supplement. I have also used cardboard for floor covering--not the best but way better than lino.
