So sorry for your loss--rabbits are so good at hiding problems and, sometimes it just happens out of the blue. Had a couple of youngsters that were fine in the morning and gone in the afternoon--sometimes it just happens that way no matter how hard we strive--breaks your heart!

On a little happier note, we are getting 2 new Dane puppies from Virginia--they should be here by Friday and continuing with our "Futurama" names, they will be Nibbler and Hermes.

We're getting 2 Great Dane puppies next week by transport from Virginia. They are both black with a little white on their chest. Following in our Futurama themed names, they will be Nibbler and Hermes.

Not a rabbit, our 10 year old Great Dane is making his last trip to the Vet's today. He' been losing weight and mobility for a while now, and I know it's time, but it still breaks my heart even though it is the right thing to do. Brought him home almost 11 years ago, 18 pounds at six weeks old...

once again, I direct your attention to our old girl Nikki in her Avatar pic--sound asleep, all feet in the air--she'd also sleep like that in her hay rack, alas, we never got a pic of her doing it. She's been gone for more than 6 years but it is still my absolutely favorite picture.

Another year gone by without you-11 actually, but it sure doesn't seem that long. You were such a sweet bunny so it's still hard for me when I think of how some ***** threw you out like trash--their loss, our gain. Til next year sweetie.

Sometimes it just happens--years ago Bonnie was fine for morning veggies and was gone that afternoon, no warnings at all ans she was less than 4 years old and seemed to always be in great health. We are so sorry for your loss, rest in peace little man and binky free.

We have 3 rescues in our "rabbit room", yes, they have their own room. Each gets 8 hours a day out of their hutch and we have boxes and all sorts of chewable toys. I would keep him inside and set up a "play" area for him when not in the hutch--we got a collapsible wire play pen at Petsmart...

We have a neutered male we got from a shelter--he's now a "teenager" and exhibitng the same behavior---not all do, but they usually outgrow it.

we do a 2 person with anything we do with our bunnies--my son holds and I trim nails--easiest way I know of. I could not do any of them by myself.

Don't know your location--are there any Vet Colleges nearby that you could call?

Looks just like one we had years ago--I'd roll a wicker ball on the floor and he'd chase it and bring it back to me--only rabbit ever that I knew of that would play fetch. His name was Ted. Enjoy.
