Thank you. I wasn't exactly looking to get another bunny just yet until I've had Sid spayed, but I was telling my friend the next rabbit I wanted to get would either be a Harlequin or a Mini Rex (I used to raise both), and then I saw her at the pet store, and I just had to get her.

I don't think they have to be sheared. I have cut most of her fur off now, though, because she was matted when I got her. She does get LOTS of fur all over the house and needs to be brushed all the time.

My cat Gilmour with Page: I was watching very carefully. The cat never had his claws out and he only licked the bunny. The bunny wasn't scared. I would not let them together unsupervised.

They don't usually get to be out together because they are not spayed yet, and I thought they would fight. But they were fine today. I still won't leave them out together for long.

Both of my rabbits have dog crates as cages. I have a smaller crate for my mini rex. That crate also has a shelf in it. I will eventually ad a shelf to this cage, as well.
