    Rehoming bonded bunnies

Try to keep them together. Bonded buns are beautiful once they do bond. They can really suffer when separated. It sounds like u are trying to work thru the other issues which are great. Keep us posted.

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

Ree, I wish my Malibu would let me show him some luv. He is such an independent bun. Amaretto would tolerate more handling, but Malibu just always wants to do things on his terms. The rescue I got him from previously had named him "sir Thumps a lot". Lol. I love that you can comfort your Bubbles...

    Bonding

Have a water bottle ready when u do start the bonding process. Sounds mean, but gives chance to stop bad aggressive behavior such as growling, nipping, mounting etc. As soon as one does this to the other, gently squirt it with water and separate them. Allow them to interact around 10_20 mins a...

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

Very true Very true. We do our very best regarding our buns and they definitely are our fur babies. And she was with me doing her last moments, so that would have helped. Malibu is slowly adapting, but I am still watching him closely. He is such an independent bun in regards to wanting human...

Anyone have any issues with use of Cisapride (Prepuside)

Hi, this is my first thread as am a new member. So gday. Recently I have been using under the guidance and prescription of my rabbit savvy vet Cisapride (Prepuside) to prevent stasis in one of my rabbits that was more prone to it. The dosage can be 2 to 3 times a day I understand, or every 8...

    Bunny sounds

I think panting can be stress and pain, BUT it can also be anticipation or excitement, as in "give me those vegies". My boy does this when he wants his plate of veggies too, and tends to throw his plate around.

    Bunny sounds

One of my boys makes squeaky noise when he is not happy. Like when my two dogs walk in his territory. Which can turn into a growl. And he is neutered and thus less territorial.

    Extreme guilt over rabbit death

Don't beat yourself up. You didn't know any better and you were only young. Just learn from your mistakes. That is what I try to do, and I have made plenty of them over the 12 years I have had rabbits.

    Bunny won't eat hay

Hi, I'm a new member and this is my first post. So gday. Mine like a bit of fresh safe grass too. I try to get rye, which is low in calcium and protein, but high in fibre. Sometimes experimenting or mixing different hays can help. Some of mine like Timothy, others prefer Oaten. Some like...
